It was my first time visiting the USA and I stayed with my family for three nights .the location is calm secure and clean but there is nothing in the hotel to highlight .No good activities for kids and elders.no spa .room is very small .with the washroom on the head .worst thing is the breakfast .there is no live egg cooking .which is very terrible from Marriott .we est halal food so nothing for us .just cereals or fruits or juices .so really dissatisfied us .secondly the lady coming again and again and knocking the door for check out .no care how tired u r or with family .so no sympathy from them .so big no .

My stay at Residence Inn Columbia Maryland was satisfactory overall. The hotel is spacious, though a bit of a trek to reach the rooms. Cleanliness was maintained well, and the room was adequately equipped with a refrigerator and kitchen amenities. While there was nothing particularly exceptional about the stay, it served its purpose for a short stay of a night or two. No notable negatives, but likewise, nothing exceptionally positive to highlight.

Initially I posted a positive review reflecting the first months of our stay. Unfortunately over-familiarity and blurred boundaries have resulted in my family having to flee from here abruptly as a matter of security and peace of mind. We received comfortable accomodations, and hospitality for months until a staff member who became a friend began taking liberties such as entering my room without permission while I was asleep, touching my feet while I was asleep, joking with other employees about doing this and how I did not wake up. A key was given to a visitor without my authorization or knowledge. My friend who had never previously visited or been seen here was able to enter my room as I slept while recovering from surgery. No proof was required and no permission was granted by me. After I voiced my concerns my treatment here immediately changed. I've been purposely targeted and treated badly by a group of staff members and management after speaking up. The employee is the child of a manager and has not been truthful in her recounting of events. I was invited into their home during the early months of our stay. I eventually trusted two staff members enough to babysit my children when they offered to help me. I was invited to speak to regional leadership at a celebration for this location in July after having been here 4 months. And then boundaries were crossed. It is never ok to invade another person's privacy this way and abuse access as a hotel employee then blame the guest as management has done to me. Other employees were given an ultimatum to immediately dissolve any friendship with my family or end their employment. Management went from regularly calling us their favorite guests to telling my husband I was not welcome to be at the front desk for any reason due to the managers daughter being upset with me after I firmly demanded that she stop making daily existence here difficult for us. This place is run like the mafia. So much has transpired that I could write a book. There have been police twice recently for instances of credit card theft from the same employee not checking ID. There has been money stolen from the cash drawer and wire transfered out of the country, that employee still works here. No accountability exists for favored employees while others have been bullied and fired by management for minor things. I was ignorant of everything rotting inside of this hotel until I had the misfortune of complaining against the wrong employee. We've lived in hotels at times due to 19 years of military service, TDY and PCS. We have always chosen Marriott and have almost reached ambassador loyalty level. I am an outgoing, friendly and kind person who has learned to be more careful in the future. It's incredulous because for months they seemed so sincere and genuinely good natured. I'll end by saying that life lessons were learned on my part. Nobody has been held accountable for their behavior and they've gone to great lengths to place blame

We had a really nice stay at this hotel. We stayed 4 nights for a wedding in the area. We had a suite which was really nice to have our room separate from the living room. The kitchen was very convenient and helped us save some money from eating out every day. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The bed was nice and comfortable. Our only complaint was that breakfast only went to 9 on the week days so we didn't participate in breakfast. The walls/floors are also extremely thin. We could hear a dog barking above us for awhile and kids running around. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay here. We would stay again.

I highly recommend residence, inn at Ellicott city / USA , In fact The hotel is distinguished in all respects in terms of its easy location, beautiful furniture, elegant decorations and cleanliness. The most attractive is the Hotel management, and staff. In fact the hotel manager has a special presence in maintaining the elegance of the hotel. She is always there when needed, very helpful and kind, Add to that the reception staff are distinguished by their smile , kindness, in addition to their worm welcoming to hotel guest, and their friendly high morals. Booked here as a result of a terrible experience at a TownePlace Suites nearby. Still have the smell of new carpet and new drywall. Room was beautiful and clean. Pretty sure my grandkids were the first ones to ever sleep on the sleeper sofa. Breakfast was very good and hot!

Paper thin floors. You will hear all walking above. I have been here almost 2 months due to a major water leak in my home. Ive had 0 good nights sleep. I work nights alot and have been rudely awoken every day. They started major renovations above my room and its been a war zone Monday thru Sunday 8am til 6pm or later. Even tho they said 9-5. They dont care about guests having peace and quiet here. Also dirty outdated rooms with hair and debris not vacuumed properly. The bathroom tiles are loose and coming out of place. Tub was dirty and had hair. 0 stars. I wouldnt recommend this place to Satan.
