The hotel is located in the heart of Emmeloord, right in the pedestrian zone, but still offers free parking at the back. Our room was in the newer extension and was modern and functional, but at the same time comfortably furnished. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The attached Grand Café with indoor and outdoor seating is a real meeting place. Drinks and food leave nothing to be desired! The breakfast is small but fine. However, there is still room for improvement here: In the "land of cheese", more than two types of standard sliced cheese should be offered. Above all, an employee should be available for the buffet throughout the entire breakfast time in order to promptly replenish any items that are out of stock. This person can then also carry out the regular maintenance work on the otherwise good coffee machine. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and can recommend the hotel!

Delicious food and very nice service, the hamburger was tasty, my husband had delicious asparagus with soft meat. Fries were tasty, and strawberries with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream for dessert. My husband had a dame blanche. Really nice restaurant with super nice staff. A recommendation

Food excellent
Communication upon receipt could have been a little more extensive, had to report a party, which meant that the restaurant and bar were closed at 2100. We had to eat very quickly and could not sit there comfortably in the evening.
We thought that was a shame, but we didn't know anything else, you plan something else
Staff was extremely friendly, apologized several times and received coffee on the house

Excellent accommodation, just a pity that the heating is behind the curtains and luckily it was finally cold that day (for the environment). Friendly employee and the restaurant was a great place to be if you arrived too early.
