A bit hit and miss, sometimes you get a great experience, a good room and a welcome feeling, other times a bit below par.
Definitely suits the older clientele, and the rooms I have stayed in, and particularly the bathrooms are in need of a refresh.

Absolutely loved our time at West Lodge Park - good old fashioned customer service.
Breakfast taken on both mornings of our stay was tasty and plentiful - albeit a little bit of a strange queuing system around people who are eating there own breakfast to access the hot cooked fayre.
All staff we engaged with were super friendly, courteous and attentive.
We will return for sure.

A very distinctive British-style hotel, Xiaobailou has a long history. The whole environment is very beautiful. You can take a walk in the park during the day. I really like the windows in the main building with the view~
The afternoon tea set is rich and delicious, the restaurant's daily supply of tea, coffee and wine list is also very rich, and the dinner standard is online.
Facilities: Disposable slippers are generally not provided. It is best if you can prepare them yourself ~ I changed the room type once in the middle, and the second room was not equipped with a refrigerator.
It happens to be the hottest summer in London. The hotel has no air conditioning and relies on a small electric fan to blow the air.😂
