Treacy's Hotel Wexford

Definitely not a 4 star hotel the street is very run down and very noisy.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly but this doesn’t compensate for the noise. Saturday night when nightclub ended all the patrons congregated on the street and made some racket for about 1 hour. Should have known something wasn’t right when we saw 2 pairs of earplugs in the drawer and these didn’t even block the racket on the street. Wouldn’t stay there again simply because of the noise.

For a start, you cannot book into the hotel untill 4 pm at which point the car park and overspill car park is full to bursting with the cars of the refugees who are staying in the hotel. The room is big and spacious but can't be slept in because of the shouting and screaming from early morning till late at night from the people being accommodated here. The hallways and common areas are grubby unclean with what can be described as an odour of an ominous nature. The breakfast is warm and hearty with the coffee of an excellent standard which is just as well because you won't get any sleep. Overall this once nice country hotel is a reason so many people seek accommodation abroad. When the receptionist enquired of our stay she tentatively listened and with a shrug told us she would talk to the powers that be.......

Enjoyed a weekend brake , food was very nice , room very clean, had drive to Welford and roslare , some very nice beaches, there was a good atmosphere in the lounge at night , staff very friendly , .

Hubby and I stayed here on a 5day coaching holiday. I cannot praise this Hotel enough The staff are amazing and were the friendliest we had ever met . Particular thanks to Marie and Sacha in the restaurant who went over and above to look after us (and everyone )at mealtimes. Helen on reception was also lovely , friendly and helpful. The food was gorgeous , fresh, tasty and plentiful. Breakfast is buffet style and the rest of the time was table service. Some friends who had a gluten intolerance were catered for brilliantly. Our room was on the 4th floor , there is a lift so not a problem with stairs. The room we had , 404 ,was spacious and comfortable with a modern bathroom that had both a bath and a walk in shower. A safe , iron/board, hairdryer and toiletries were provided free. Towels were big ,fluffy and very clean . Bed was very comfortable and the room was serviced daily . There is a bar and plenty of seating where we went for entertainment every evening. Over the road is the Watersport Centre that houses all the usual leisure facilities including a Pool , sauna and gym to which guests are able to use. Car / coach parking is also here. Small town but had array of shops to peruse. I would highly recommend this Hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again . Thank you Treacy’s for a wonderful stay

My entire family met up in Tracey's for our parents 70th birthday celebration. We all stayed the hotel and had a meal. From the moment we all arrived we were so welcomed, the food and service was excellent. The staff all went above and beyond for us. The attention to detail was outstanding. I would highly recommend a trip and definitely will return
