Had a very nice 2-day stay here. Lovely people, beautiful old house, lovely garden. Clean, comfortable, and a very nice breakfast. Very convenient location, we were able to park in the lot across the street and walk everywhere. Would stay here again.

Unfortunately we had a room right at the top of the house (3rd floor) which only had a very small very high window. It was very hot! Small but clean bathroom with a good shower. A very hard bed and only one quite lumpy pillow made for a not great nights sleep. On the upside, breakfast was lovely and our hostess Charlotte was charming. Very secure off road parking was a bonus. Ask for a room on 1st floor and I’m sure you will enjoy your stay.

Nice B&B in the centre of Epernay, perfectly located to explore the area of the Champagne Region. Catherine and her daughter are gentle hosts. The room (rather small) provides all you need during a city stay. Delicious breakfast with home made and fresh food. Located in a beautiful old house with intimate garden

Les notes ne reflètent pas la réalité. Ça faisait longtemps que j'attendais ce petit séjour de 3 jours... nous avons été déçu par l'expérience et ne prendrons plus une maison d'hôtes.la maison est bien tenue.l'accueil est agréable, c'est propre mais l'endroit est vétuste. Pas de télé, pas de sèche cheveux comme indiqué...le WC très bruyant, idem à la prise d'eau....pas de plateau courtoisie comme indiqué...pas d'intimité étant donné que nous entendions tout ce qui se passait en dehors de notre chambre...les parents dormaient certainement au dessus car on entendait tout également. Concernant le petit déjeuner...un petit déjeuner imposé sur la table...4 morceaux de pains...2 petits pots de confiture...un yoghourt...un pot avec des mandarines coupées et morceaux de bananes.... j'avoue que le premier jour je n'ai rien mangé quasi...nous avons demandé 2 croissants pour le lendemain et un peu de choco et nous l'avons eu...la pièce du déjeuner sépare une pièce privée séparée par deux rideaux... j'ai entendu coupé des ongles... l'extérieur donné sur un vieux garage et des fenêtres de la chambre on voit d'un côté des toits et de l'autre une école... Cet endroit convient certainement à d'autres mais pas pour nous...

We absolutely loved this bed and breakfast. Excellent location to both the train station and Champagne Avenue. They have a fabulous breakfast included each morning and our room was very cute. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable. No elevator so be prepared to haul your suitcase up some stairs but that adds to the charm. The owner of the BnB was so nice and even made us a breakfast for the morning we had to leave early to catch an early train to make our flight. Loved it!

La Poterne is fantastic small B&B in Epernay, providing everything what we were expecting, and then some more. On arrival, owners gave us warm welcome and during our stay they helped us to have most perfect Champagne experience. Room was clean and beautifully decorated, bed was just perfect. Breakfast had home made yogurt, granola and bread with cheeses and salami. It was overall fulfilling our expectations. Thank you so much Jean-Mark for helping us to find nice tasting places and showing us the nature park and finally guiding to the wine fare. All the best to the Charlotte and Margot making our stay perfect!

Romantisch hotelletje, in het centrum .. kamers zijn groot en schoon , maar erg gehorig . Charlotte is n aardige vrouw . Zij verrzorgd ook n lekker ontbijt, je ontbijt staat klaar op je eigen tafel .. parkeren kan voor de deur dit is gratis . Of aan de overkant , dit kost 10 euro per dag

An excellent choice to stay in Epernay. Run by a delightful family, and located in the heart of town, yet quietly situated. An old characterful house, with very individual rooms. A very good breakfast is supplied. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. Parking directly opposite the house, and 5 minutes walk from the station.

Absolute gem in the heart of Epernay, easy walk to the town and Champagne houses. Secure parking across the quiet road at modest charge. Charlotte was delightful, helped suggest places to eat and visit, breakfast in the pretty garden was excellent, cannot fault our stay.
