I booked this a surprise for my husband's 50th birthday. We were arriving on his birthday and I had let the hotel know. We had an excellent room up on the 6th floor, room 633 with a wonderful sea view from the balcony. Great sunrises every morning. Such a peaceful room with no outside or inside noise. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The meals had a variety and never had to wait for a table or seat. Didn't use the swimming pool or pool area at all, rather crowded being the school holidays but we enjoyed adventures exploring the island. The hotel for us was just a base. A great swap box at the bottom of the stairs and also books.
Overall a wonderful stay.

The hotel needs updating a bit. Our room was very dated however we was informed that they are doing it floor by floor. We was on the fourth floor which hasn’t yet been done. The beds were very hard and the pillows were flat. Meal times = breakfast good. Dinner = sometimes good Tea = sometimes good Pool bar snacks = good. Animation team were fantastic and worked so hard. Great friendly bunch. Entertainment evenings mixed bunch of animation team and hired acts. Quiz guy and Disco Inferno were really good. Escana lovely little resort that doesn’t get to overcrowded. My reason for 3 out of 5 = dated uncomfortable room, food ok and the pool water left a green colour on some of my light clothing.

Stayed last year with a friend in this hotel and loved it so much I returned with my family this August. We were celebrating my daughter’s 21st and mother- in - laws 80th birthdays. After an initial mix up with rooms ( which was sorted no problem by the amazing reception team) we had a fab 4 night stay. There is never a shortage of sun beds, two pools have plenty of options to swim or play, great entertainment for all the family, super clean, fantastic , friendly staff, outstanding food , ran/ managed so smoothly that everything is effortless and Es Canar is a lovely vibrant place to explore. I can highly recommend this hotel and all inclusive package ( we went Jet 2) as it was the most chill holiday with everything we needed. We will be returning next year with additional family members and a longer stay as it caters for all ages.

Disabled access to the pool via a chair lift a real plus for less mobile guests. Only free wi-fi on ground floor and charges elsewhere could be improved upon. Food and room good. We did have a corner room which was a bit more limited on balcony privacy but still a view of the hills. Drinks token for cups a good idea to reduce waste and the place was really clean and tidy. I think you can pay extra for tea/coffee facilities in room and a sea view if desired. Lots of activities and evening entertainment but also close to some good bars (one of which had live football and beer at 2 euros per pint), the es cana beach, and the fair next to the bus stops. Walking distance from the wednesday es Canar market at punta arabia. A really enthusiastic and hard working entertainment team.

Here with a group of 13, family and friends. Lovely pool, plenty of sunbeds, pool bar open from 10.30am. Rooms average but clean and tidy. No kettle but we have a fridge and hairdryer. Food OK, always something to eat but not loads of choice so if you are picky, you may struggle. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by. We are really enjoying it and the staff are very friendly.

Estancia muy agradable, más allá de nuestras expectativas. Super organizado este hotel, a pocos metros de la playa. Personal muy amable y profesional en todos los departamentos. Destacan la limpieza en general de todo el establecimiento y la calidad y variedad de la comida, no es fácil para tanta gente. Un agradecimiento especial a la Directora Ainhoa, Óscar de reception y Nieves de la sala. Super recomendable, volveremos!!

Lovely hotel very close to the beach, daily housekeeping, Pools are big and clean, plenty of sunbeds and areas to use, never rushed to go there as was never an issue. Food is great, plenty of choice, regular theme nights, never queued or had to wait. There is entertainment but we were never at the hotel in the evening with all the great beach bars with great views nearby. Plenty of shops, pubs and cocktail bars. Boat trips daily from local beach. Would definitely stay again.
