Hotel was clean bartender was extraordinarily helpful and the staff were genuinely caring.

This is one of the nicest IHG properties that I have stayed in. Lobby, amenities and room were all very clean and modern. The breakfast was very good and there was fresh grapefruit every morning. The very best part of the stay, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful. It seemed that they were all part of an engaged team that enjoyed working together. The location of the property is great- walking distance to restaurants, a museum and good bars.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel everytime I stay I always stay over and it is worth it!a friendly housekeeping and front desk only negative things I would say is the housekeeper was banging in the door loudly on check out day and I have small kids but I found it frustrating cause I didn’t want her to wake them up. And also there was some confusion between the hotel and trip.com and we got treated unkind until it got sorted out that whole time we had no access to our room our things my kids were restless my husband was tired he worked all morning it was pretty cold treatment and then it got sorted out which was awesome and I appreciated her apologizing to me the next morning.

Check in was a breeze. Jorge was friendly and welcoming. Nice size rooms with a full size refrigerator, it had a microwave AND a small stove top. The rooms were clean and we would stay there again. It is also located next door to a nice Mexican restaurant that you can walk to without having to get back in the car.

The basic conditions are good, there is a sense of reform of the domestic government guest house, can live four people. Facilities: There is a separate coffee table and microwave space. Environment: Next to the Pensacra car, the surrounding environment is good. Hygiene: The smell of tide is slightly larger in the house.

The Good: • The staff were all pleasant. The maid and maintenance staff were great, especially Manny. More on why we spent time with Manny below. The Bad: • This was the most minor issue: The TV was stuck in demo mode. The remote didn’t work with it at all since it was for the cable box. It could only be turned on/off at the source. 2 maintenance men helped, but Manny set it up again like it was new. Thanksomuch! • I chose this hotel because it was supposed to be pet friendly (albeit, at an additional cost). They knew in advance I was bringing a pet (a 15-yo cat who can no longer be boarded because of her age). But when I checked in and reminded the clerk that we had a pet (there’s always extra paperwork and the fee to pay), she told me, ”We don’t take pets.” As I’m mentally scrambling to try to figure out where we’re now going to stay, I questioned her about it, and in the end, she told me my pet would be okay, as if she was doing me a favor. That was not a great start. • The halls of the main hotel area, which is a separate building from the lobby & breakfast area, were vacuumed, but the outer and fire doors were so black with dirt, we carried wipes for after touching them • The room was tidy, but it had not been properly cleaned. — The the previous guest’s trash remained. — There were still pee drips on the floor from a previous male guest in front of the toilet — There was only 1 set of towels, and they were were still damp, seemingly previously used. One was still wet and drying on the side of the tub rim. — The floors were so dirty we bought swifter floor wipes to wipe them down because my pet, a cat, left black footprints across the bed sheets whenever she jumped on the bed. That wasn’t just gross, but a health issue for my pet. — Oh, and speaking of the beds — we reserved a king, but got 2 queens. Tho honestly, that’s not a really big deal, it just adds to the rest… especially the fact that there was only one pillow in the whole room. AFTER 3 REQUESTS (One in person) FOR AT LEAST ONE MORE PILLOW, WE GAVE UP AND WENT OUT AND BOUGHT OURSELVES PILLOWS & CASES!!! We don’t expect pristine or new anything from a budget hotel. But we shouldn’t have to wonder how long it’s been since it’s been properly cleaned. Much less have to buy pillows. I once cleaned hotel rooms, so I totally understand the difficult job it is. With this in mind, it’s important to me not to add to the maid’s chores with extra work because I travel with a pet. I bring a hand vacuum to clean up any stray litter, and the litter box left behind is completely bagged so it only needs to be disposed of. The Hilton in Pensacola delivered an incredible guest experience in every way. It's location on the beach was spectacular. Great views of the pier and beach from the guest room. The room itself was incredibly spacious and well appointed. The meeting space was spacious and well appointed. The food and beverage staff fed us like kings! Top notch experience in all aspects. Overview: This is from a Diamond Member who travels over 200 days a year. If you’re looking for a Hilton Property that overlooks a beautiful beach with easy access to the beach and water – then the Hampton will work for you. With only 4 Floors (Highly Recommend 4th Floor – overlooking beach – other side just looks over a parking lot), ample parking and large rooms with fast Wi-Fi, comfortable beds and window a/c’s that push out very cold air (but are also quite loud). This is a very well used property, and you will notice wear & tear if you look around – I saw maintenance personnel every day working hard to repair and replace things. Why 4-stars: Couple of things just didn’t work well – and should when one pays for a service and expects that level of service. Texted the hotel upon arrival (via the app) a couple of times and never got a response. When I checked in (an hour past the time stated by the hotel) the room was not ready, staff did make a change but tried to move me to the 2nd floor w/o asking me (remember I had picked a 4th floor room w/virtual key) so I had to get me moved back to the 4th floor…..and then had to ask if I could have my 2-waters as a diamond member. I get places are short staffed and I was OK with having to remove my own trash and ask for towels to replace used ones….but simple things should be easy to take care of. A few challenges in the room also added to the rating – however still a solid hotel for a beach stay. Next door is a Hilton property if you prefer – but it is quite large so many more guest to deal with this property never seemed busy except at breakfast. If back will look to stay here again – 4th Floor overlooking beach! Tips to Help w/Stay: 8-minute drive to where a Publix and Walmart Neighborhood grocery stores are to grab some snacks (no places on Island – except a Circle K) and the rooms have a decent size frig to hold beverages and a few snacks. 25-minute drive to Pensacola airport. Next door are two restaurants (Crabs & ???) that allow you to walk up in swimsuits and eat. Across the street (easy walk) is Alvin’s to pick up forgotten beach things or grab a souvenir. Early morning walks before the beaches fill up are recommended and either direction offer stunning water, sand, and views. The hotel offers a large breakfast selection (I don’t do these so can’t comment on quality) but it seemed to be well utilized and the offerings (hot and cold) looked OK as I walked by. Finally, there are numerous restaurants within a 2–5-minute walk and many more to choose from via a 3 – 5 drive to either show up in your bathing suit (next to hotel) or get a little more dressed up for a good dinner.
