Booked the trip as a friend duo and we really enjoyed this hotel! It’s in a little town in the side of the mountains, on the left of the island which is the perfect place to kick back and relax. The location is good if you want to do nothing but chill and eat at the authentic restaurants but if you want more to do, this area may not be for you. Hotel staff were so welcoming and accommodating, I couldn’t recommend it enough :)

Si quieres comer excepcionalmente, no lo dudes hazlo en Maristel. No te arrepentirás. Las vistas son espectaculares y maridan bien con la comida, platos muy bien elaborados y ejecutados con mucho equilibrio en sabores y texturas; cocina de producto con mucha sensibilidad en cada bocado descubriendo los sabores del mediterráneo y de Mallorca. En pocas palabras es un restaurante de producto, gastronómico y para valorar en posibles guías gastronómicas

Lovely views to the sea from our balcony. Beautiful area with tree covered mountains and glorious walks. Lots of younger fit people cycling and trekking etc, I think at 80 years old we did find the hills quite steep. We caught the local bus several times to various towns which we enjoyed. Very obliging hotel staff who were most helpful. Mostly ate out at excellent local restaurants as we were B & B. Hotel dinner rather limited. Lovely pool and patios to enjoy the sun.

Great hotel to stay, relaxed atmosphere in a relaxed village. Staff very helpful and helped with some local lunch reservations. Impressed with dinner in the restaurant and pool is very nice with a nice view form the terraced mountains over the sea.

Hotel recomendable, personal muy agradable. Probad el menu degustación para cenar si quereis comer comida mallorquina. Nosotros hicimos la escapada gastronomica y nos encantó. Además las vistas son expectaculares. La piscina con vistas al mar para relajarse y pasar un dia tranquilo.

Excelente hotel, con vistas al mar y la montaña. Muy buena atención y buenos servicios. Era un fin de semana de relax, con un menú degustacion Mallorquin. Productos naturales y locales. Un universo de sabores,a la altura, de un restaurante, de estrella Michelin. Miguel, camarero,siempre con una sonrisa y atento. No pudimos hacer uso del Spa, x falta de tiempo,lo cual,nos obliga a volver, en los meses de invierno.

Fuimos a celebrar nuestro 20 aniversario de bodas,cogimos la oferta de media pensión con menú degustación y nos encantó ! Todos los platos muy buenos y muy bien explicados y servidos por Marga,creo que así era el nombre,muy atenta ..al igual que todo el personal, lo recomiendo y volveremos sin duda! After finally tiring of the all inclusive hustle and bustle dining experience we decided that we wanted the exact opposite. We were definitely not left disappointed, the dining was an absolute romantic delight. The food was incredible if you like top quality local cuisine, not for the burger and chips brigade. We stayed for two weeks and didn't eat anywhere else. The view from our rooms were fantastic, after four days ww decided to see if we could upgrade to one of the suites. One came available for the next day and we took it. The spa was a welcome treat however we would have liked the pool to be a little warmer. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a fantastic mountain setting this place can not be beaten, the staff were all incredible, made you feel like family tbh. The cycle garage was well appointed with tools etc and very convenient , a point of note however the terrain is the most challenging on the Island more so than Sa Calobra etc. Definitely my favourite and the traffic is light. We most definitely will be back as it's head and shoulders above all the hotels that we have stopped in Mallorca.
