Hotel environment is not bad, next to a shopping center, is the opening of the hotel around the door early, the hotel staff can also, compare nice, we rented a car, the hotel can park, the river view by the river is not recommended, there is a railway nearby Very noisy at night, the train whistle all the way, this hotel is not in the city center, if you live here, it is strongly recommended to rent a car, the airport taxi to the hotel should be between 30 and 40 knives, tipping 3 knives enough. Figure 1 is just flying over the hotel when flying to Eugene.

Had to stay here last minute when my son was hospitalized in Eugene. I know Eugene, have stayed at the Residence Inn, and a few others. The Even was suprisingly nice and would be where I would stay again. Starting with Jonathan at the front desk (and Rosa at checkout was wonderful as well), we needed a suite, and he found us a AAA rate, which I appreciated We had room 420, very large accessible suite-huge bathroom, nice body wash, shampoo, etc. Two separate rooms with a nice little balcony. I am 66 and slept on the couch which was extremely comfortable. Room was spotlessly clean, well-designed and comfortable, very nice linens, towels, etc. I am a huge hotel princess (most often stay at very high end hotels like Four Seasons), but I would not hesitate to stay here again. Staff were extremely professional, everything sparkling clean and all aesthetically pleasing. They pay attention to IHG status, which is also nice.

We walked about 2 minutes to the student center for a tour of the University of Oregon. Then we also walked to the stadium, which is a beautiful walk over a bridge. Breakfast was ok, it’s food. Bedrooms are old, but clean. The accent chair had a stain, so we placed a towel over it and just didn’t sit there.

Excellent
GGuest UserI booked the hotel with a third party. We called ahead to request a room with either 2 beds or a king. We were told that rooms were assigned and we did not have a choice. We were assigned an “accessible” king. Which was close to what we wanted anyway. Upon arriving at the hotel at 6pm, we were told our room was not ready. We asked if other kings or 2 bedded rooms were available and the answer was yes. However, we were not allowed to switch from our assigned “accessible” room. I suggested that perhaps the “accessible”’room should ne saved for someone that needed it. The answer was no and we were required to wait. I thought this was rediculous and unreasonable.
GGuest UserMy stay was pretty much perfect at the Candlewood. At check in the front desk agent Crystal was so delightful and very helpful, she made sure to exceed our expectations, right from the start we felt very welcomed! A big shout out to Crystal for doing such a great job and being extra helpful with all our questions!!Our room was very clean and tidy, spacious and a great view from the free upgrade we received at check in. We will definitely be staying here again, when the staff is as wonderful as this experience we didn’t want to leave! Mary C.
BBotzworthStayed one night in a king suite. The room was clean and the bed was a welcome sight after 15 hours of travelling coast to coast. Shower was good with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was ok but the egg omelet things and the biscuits were a bit cold and needed to be popped in the microwave to be edible. The hotel is convenient to the interstate with an easy off and on. It is a bit isolated though with only a Denny's and a gas station. If you need more than that plan ahead. We checked in at 10 pm which felt like 1 am from traveling from east coast. The front desk was friendly and very efficient at getting us checked in.
GGuest UserThis is a clean, modern hotel with a helpful staff and excellent breakfast, BUT the hotel's designer (at least for the main building in the front) seemed to focus on form over function. In particular, it seems that little attention was paid to sound-proofing, either between floors or from outside. I was awakened in the middle of two nights out of four, once by a noisy room above and once by street noise. It even seemed like the guest room windows were single-pane, which is ridiculous both for energy and noise. Other minor issues: though guests are provided with multiple large towels, the bathroom had only one small towel rod. And my wife disliked the sliding bathroom door that didn't really close off that room. There are apparently other buildings in the rear, but we know nothing of them. In summary, this hotel is a mixed bag: nice in many ways but don't expect quiet, especially if you have a room near Franklin Blvd.
QQIJIEThe appearance is relatively old, the luggage should be taken on the 2nd floor without elevator, the room facilities are relatively complete, the bathroom is small.
KKenNavitskyBefore I do any review I believe it is necessary for people to realize what we are reviewing. This is a value-based motel, not a Hilton, or Hyatt. Based upon that I gave it four out of five stars. The room was clean, the front desk staff was helpful, and my son and I both slept well the three nights we were there. The price was dead on the money if you are looking to save some money, if not there are many other options that can blow your budget very quickly. before I do any review I believe it is necessary for people to realize what we are reviewing. The beds AR comfortable, they could use better Linens and toiletries, but it is not bad. If you were looking to stay someplace on a budget, look no further.
GGuest UserThis Motel property is conveniently located right off of Interstate 5 at the south edge of Eugene where deer can sometimes be seen wandering about in the wooded hills that rise up above the back side of the motel. I’ve stayed here for quite a few nights over the past decade when visiting family members, and I’ve always been greeted with friendly staff at the front desk and given a clean, comfortable room at an affordable rate. This latest stay over Memorial Day weekend was no exception Rashad, the desk clerk who checked me in, was courteous and outgoing, gave me a choice of room location, and clearly described all the available amenities. I’ll definitely be considering another stay here when I come back down to Eugene again.
