Travelodge by Wyndham Evanston

There was no “closet”. Only a hanging rack like what you would use to hang wet clothes to dry. The tv did not work. There were extension cords all over the place- too many to be safe. The microwave was on top of the very small refrigerator and the coffee maker was standing on top of the microwave. There was a large mud pile outside the room that had to be stepped in to get I the room that was slippery almost causing a fall. The person at the front desk tried to say I didn’t have a reservation although I had a printed copy. After several minutes he “found” it. This place deserves ZERO stars and I encourage ******* to remove their association with this property. If I could get my money back, I most DEFINITELY WOULD! I have stayed in better properties in third world countries!!!!!!!!

Such nice people that work here! A lovely, clean, no frills spot great for a road trip overnight

Room was average, about what you would expect for 59 a night. Bed was lumpy. Wifi Excellant. Clean, no bugs, etc. Bedding and towels were worn, but clean. Heating unit worked great in this 15 degree winter days. Owners were wonderful and responsive. Asked for an extra blanket, received promptly, and very friendly. I come into this area 3 times a year and have spent time in several hotels. While this one is a lot older than some, and a little more worn down I will stay here again because of the owners. If you just need a spot to get a night or two rest while out on your travels I would recommend here. No frills, not luxury but completely adequate for a day or two.

Great place to stay in a small town.

For an older motel it was clean & comfortable & quiet . It would have been nice to hear the tv & or better instructions, I tried everything I knew to do short of going to the office late late. I would probably go there again ! Rate was excellent for older seniors.

Staff was friendly and informative at check in room was comfortable and the bed was comfortable. An older hotel but clean without that smell from cleaning stuff. Great price for a one night stay

Good people here!

Place was quiet, safe and internet was fast. Location is not far from restaurants and diners. Room could use an air freshener and AC is noisy when running. Customer service (Cat) is awesome, very helpful and accommodating to our needs.

The room was very comfortable and clean, enjoyed my stay.
