I stayed in a room that had been renovated and I was very satisfied with everything.
The hotel is located downtown, so it has excellent accessibility to shopping, restaurants, and tourist information centers.
From Fairbanks, you can easily take the highway to any direction, north, south, east or west.

Good location, could walk to a couple restaurants. Easy parking and typical free breakfast. Small room for a suite but functional for one night. The issue was the room would not cool down. The thermostat was set to 60 and it felt like 80. I asked the front desk and they told me to just give it time. It did not improve. We all slept poorly because it was hot all night (and we are not the type who needs a frigid room).

This hotel was nice, convenient, and comfortable. The only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 is due to the head housekeeping staff member. We came in late (early morning hours) after watching the Northern Lights, so we slept in. We didn’t meet our tour guide until after 1pm, but we told her when we left that our room was available for cleaning (every other day). When we came back nothing had been done, so we had to get clean towels and coffee from the front desk. (Another couple in our party experienced the same situation.) The trash also needed to be emptied. We left the following day, so it wasn’t an issue. The airport shuttle was a nice service. Also, there was a mix up (on our part) about the breakfast service times, so we got there late. They were putting everything up, but we told them we misread the sign for the time. Extra points to the Breakfast Attendants, Desiree and Bruce, who grabbed us a few items in back, with a great smile and helpful attitude! We really appreciated their willingness to help us navigate the time change and our visit there! We would definitely stay there again.

Friendly and informative welcome at check-in; we were greeted whenever we left our room; the breakfast offering was especially nice, and the team serving just wonderful. Our room was clean, airy, and bright, with an enchanting view of the pretty Chena River running through the city, with views of the pretty bridge and church with spire, too. Quiet and comfortable stay in downtown Fairbanks. Great location, easy to get in and out, close to many restaurants and shopping, and ample parking.

we loved staying at Fairfield suites. It was an awesome experience. The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely stay there again.
