The hot spring is okay, but the room is as hot as a sauna. There is no air conditioning, only a fan. The temperature difference between the outside and the room is about at least 20 degrees. It is impossible to stay in the room during the day and night. It is day and night 24 hours a day.

I don’t understand why this place is a must see. The “resort” is old and dirty. The restrooms at the lobby of the hotel are dirty and smell terrible. The ice museum is okay but not worth a 1.5 hour drive. The kennel seems dirty and it smells, I wouldn’t call it a tour to be honest. Overall it was disappointing and not worth either the money or the drive.

Nice adventure but not exactly what I expected. Pictures are a bit deceiving. Water felt great but sulfur smell was a little overwhelming. Don't regret going but probably wouldn't do it again. Road to get there is LONG.................😊

The hot spring is magical in the evening/night. We had towel service but the towel was pretty thin, so bring your own. Also, bring sandals to walk around in in the locker room. The shower water had a bit of an odor (sulfur?), just fyi. We had the $25.00 day pass and stayed about 2 hours.

Hotel accommedations were extremely outdated and room smelled musty. Definitely not worth the $300+ per night cost. Only reason to go would be to try and see the Northern Lights - which is very weather dependant. I would recommend only going if chnaces are high and purchasing day pass for the hot spring and just hanging out for the night and booking an hotel in Fairbanks ( 1 1/2 drive)

The restaurant was understaffed. Took an hour to get seated and quickly rose to 2 hours for everyone after us. Food was good and service was quick after we were seated. You NEED flip flops or sandals for the hot springs or pool experience. The floors were wet and slippery. No mats on the floor. You must remove your shoes in the outer room then walk through wet hallways to the changing rooms and bathrooms. Towels were an extra $5.

The Hot Springs are the main attraction & they are excellent. Getting to stay in them until nearly midnight allows a lot of time to relax and enjoy them.
