4.5/5
Excellent
BBAOHUACome back from the hot springs and check in again after returning to the airport. Soon, it will arrive in 10 minutes. The airport is 3 minutes from the hotel and is very convenient. Bedding and toiletries are good, and the hotel is decorated with special features. Breakfast has a hot sandwich, now made of muffins, simple but enough
RResort46035785143We loved the hotel's location. We were only going to be in Fairbanks for two nights (one of which was spent chasing the aurora), so we needed somewhere central. The Springhill Suites was walking distance to two excellent restaurants: The Crepery and Big Daddy's BBQ. For souvenir shopping, it was right across the road from Arctic Traveller's Gift Shop. And for last-minute winter/outdoor clothing, Big Ray's was just a few steps away. Despite being given a room on the second floor, it was quiet and we could not hear any street noise. The room was large with a very comfortable sofa in a separate sitting area. The decor was rather dated, but we had all we needed, like a microwave oven and coffee maker. We travelled during winter, and the room was always warm, but it would have been good to have somewhere to hang our heavy winter jackets. Service at the front desk was hit and miss; there were some who were friendly and helpful, others who seemed to be inconvenienced by our queries or requests. I'd like to give special thanks to Bernie, our shuttle driver. Our luggage was delayed and we had to make an extra trip to the airport to collect it. Bernie not only sent us to the airport, he waited for us while we retrieved the bag, all done with good cheer and reassurances that things will be ok. He has certainly set the bar very high for service.
GGuest UserParking lot well lit for those dark winter months when you are out late searching for the Aurora and get the hotel late. Also visible security at night in the lobby. We stayed in a deluxe queen that came with free breakfast. Breakfast was better than most free breakfast options at hotels. The staff also gave us a container for food to take to our daughter who was still asleep after being up late looking for the northern lights. Room had space for our luggage and a microwave and fridge. The bathroom door is a strange set up. It separates the bedroom from the room but the second doorway has no door to the room where the toilet and shower are located so if someone is getting ready at the sink they have to deal with the steam from the shower or need to leave to provide privacy for someone to use the toilet. A door could make this set up so much better.
GGuest UserCozy, clean, and nice lobby with 24/7 coffee and water dispenser. Front desk staff were not warm but they do their job so all good. Value for money! Room was nice and clean except for a damaged/torn portion of where carpet meets non-carpet area by the entrance. Room had comfortable beds, a small refrigerator, and microwave oven. Ice machine on 3rd floor was broken so we had to get from ground floor because 2nd floor machine ran out of ice. Included breakfast was great and satisfying; staff in that area are warm and friendly. Hotel is very close to the airport. Free transport to airport was great. Gave good tip to the driver who assisted with our luggage.
GGuest UserThis is super super, don’t look at it. The pictures are rarely seen and it’s not good, but when I went there and opened the door, I was stunned. It is a very large suite with very American decoration, not new but Definitely clean and tidy enough. The entire resort is also very large, with a small forest behind it. When I first booked, I was frustrated by the photos on the Internet, so I booked for two nights, and stayed at another hotel for one night on the third day. I immediately decided to stay here for the last night. Comfortable!
王王Location: There is an open area outside the window, taking into account privacy and vision. The tree on the left side of the place where I live is a little reflective, but it has not affected much. Friends who have the conditions can set two more days and two more days to increase the quality of the aurora. We checked in on the first day at Fairbanks. Unfortunately, it was only level 2. It was hard to see with the naked eye, only the camera could take pictures. I only stayed here for a day because I had to catch a trip. I believe that if you catch the aurora outbreak, you can have a shelter from the wind and rain and slowly adjust the equipment. It is much better than hurrying to get off the frame machine on the roadside.
Transportation: There is pick-up. The two of us have been looking forward to experiencing the full picture of Alaska as much as possible, so the train from Anchorage came over, and the train in winter is called Aorura winter. After contacting the hotel, my brother and I directly arranged it on WeChat, so you can come from the train station. It ’s not recommended to rent a car. It ’s a bit difficult to drive. If you want to drive yourself, just rent a Subaru. This is Subaru ...
Service: The thief was enthusiastic, so he drank on a skewer and drank. There are all kinds of drinks in the lobby. I actually found my favorite lamonata. I was shocked. There are sour things. It would be perfect if there was instant noodles for breakfast.
ps. I wore a gore tex that I used for bowhunting in March, and this place is warmer than Chicago. The temperature is really white.
When I returned from the Arctic Circle the next day, I took a poor tripod + Fuji x100f wide-angle conversion mirror on the side of the road
MMENGHotel location is good, very quiet, close to the entrepreneur's park, clean, good swimming pool. The waiter also told me that there was aurora at night and the service was good.
Ffrankg_2011Found Bridgewater while looking for downtown location in Fairbanks, and was not disappointed. For a solo traveler, room size is just right. Although it may feel small with a bigger group. If you require a room with a view of the Chena river or the city, request 2nd floor or higher. Mine was on the 1st floor and faces the building next door. Customer service was excellent, friendly and attentive to my questions and requests. Breakfast is not available, but there is a small convenience store in the lobby for quick snacks and other small essentials. Free parking is provided for guests. Several eateries are right across from the hotel, or within five walking minutes. Shopping too are a short walk away. Overall, a good place to stay at.
We had an awesome time and the room is clean and neat. This hotel has everything excellent service. People are nice the place is beautiful. Everything went smoothly and we had a good night sleep. We loved it
The Staff, was incredibly helpful and friendly. Even when my dog had a couple of accidents in the hall way. Robert the General manager even recommended when we take the weekly rate when we were only going to pay for 6 days it gave us another day to figure things out. I would recommend to anyone with or without pets!
