Woods Hole Passage Inn

When you pull in the driveway off of the busy road, you immediately feel at peace with the surroundings. There is ample parking and a yard that reflects great care and the natural beauty of the Cape. The room was so clean and comfortable. I love soft sheets and they were luxurious. Liza, the owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The place was also affordable and about a 7 minute ride to the Martha’s Vineyard ferry. We stayed for 2 nights and I would certainly stay there again

we had the pleasure of meeting the hosts and they were most helpful in advising on our trip to Martha's Vineyard. the room was comfortable and very clean. there was quite a lot of noise from road traffic, not something we are used to but that's just us. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful, peaceful spot to telax. Didn't like that a breakfast was not included not even a muffin or fruit.

This was a great property! The owner did her best to ensure that they were Covid conscious as well! The property was beautiful and they had their own garden and chickens! It would have been wonderful to enjoy breakfast considering the fresh food they had available right on the property, nevertheless, I understand considering the circumstances. I would stay here again for sure!

Host could not accommodate a 5 min earlier check in to room - extremely poor customer service.

Room was clean, comfy, and cute. Super quiet location even though it’s off a Main Street. Property has large backyard to relax and enjoy some sun. Staff is very responsive with any questions or concerns.

From our first call with Liza, we were impressed with her friendliness and eagerness to make our stay totally enjoyable. Our room was wonderfully clean and very comfortable, and the beach towels and chairs were nice extras. Liza's prompt "concierge" responses to our numerous questions about beaches, restaurants and things to see was spot-on, optimizing our week with memorable dining, sightseeing, beach times and beautiful sunsets. For the money we spent, we received maximum value.

Liza runs a superb well managed Inn! The rooms are very clean, comfortable and equipped with a refrigerator & coffee maker. Liza knows the area well and recommended several excellent restaurants and excursions. The food was delicious at all of the restaurants (if possible make reservations). The Woods Hole location is ideal for the bike path conveniently yielding an efficient wake and ride excursion. We also went to Martha's Vineyard and were able to easily take the bike path to the ferry not having to worry about parking a car. Nearby downtown Falmouth has first class dining and shops as well as movie nights in the park. The whole family loved our trip and really appreciated all the great hospitality and insight from our gracious host at Woods Hole Passage Inn.

Based on the reviews, we were excited for our stay at Woods Hole Passage. Unfortunately, the visit did not meet expectations. Maybe it was the Covid protocols that led to contactless check-in and closed common areas that caused the Inn to feel cold and unwelcoming. All we saw was a narrow stairway with a few rooms off to the left and right. We were offered a coffee maker in our room but it was not there. However, the delivery of that coffee maker allowed us the only human contact we had during our stay. Our room was small and noisy in the morning when commute traffic started rolling into Woods Hole. Other B&Bs have dealt with Covid by offering breakfast in your room or outdoors (Woods Hole Passage has a spacious back porch with tables that would be suitable and it was a beautiful sunny morning) but no attempt was made to offer that service. I got the impression that Covid was being used as an excuse to reduce the effort of running a B&B while not reducing the price. Based on out experience, there was nothing cozy or charming about this place and we would not recommend it.
