The hotel is only 15 mins drive from Dujiangyan Giant Panda Centre and the hotel staff organised transport there and back for us. We would recommend this Panda reserve as it is much quieter than the reserves in Chengdu! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on both nights of our stay and the food was truly exceptional! We chose the set menu, which took us on a culinary journey through Sichuan. Each plate was refined, delicious and made using fresh ingredients. The breakfast was equally delicious, fresh and healthy. We would like to highlight the kindness and warmth of all the hotel staff. They were always available to answer any questions and organise activities to make our stay magical. The hotel staff were able to communicate with us in both English and French. We stayed at Suxi Homestay looking for a relaxing few days away from cities and we were blown away by the experience! We would have loved to have extended our stay!

There was only one day off on New Year's Day this year and I couldn't travel far, so I chose Chongzhou near Chengdu to visit relatives and friends. When checking in, the staff at the front desk heard me asking about how to get to Kui Hua Pond, and immediately enthusiastically introduced me to the current scenery and location, as well as the nearby food. Seeing that I brought my little girl with me, she gave me another one as a gift. A very well-behaved panda keychain, and such a considerate experience is really worthy of praise!
