Kabunohi Sorake Resort

We stumbled into KabuNohi Sorake Resort following a dreadful experience on Telo Island. We were desperate for some privacy and nourishing food. Debbie, the owner, greeted us warmly and the moment we saw the bungalows by the pond, we knew we’d found our private place. But when we saw the view of the right-hand point break, we knew we’d found paradise! We weren’t disappointed―KabuNohi is centrally located, private, comfortable and relaxed. Sity and Petros are gorgeous humans and nurtured us with delicious food and the freshest of juices. We stayed a month and we’re already planning our next trip. Thank you!

Debbie, Sity & Petros were amazing hosts, my room was clean and very comfortable, the food for breakfast & dinner was fantastic and plentiful during my 2 week stay. Kabunohi is a great place to stay with easy access to and from the waves and very different to the usual Sorake accommodation that i have stayed in previously. I can thoroughly recommend staying at Kabunohi and will stay here again on my next trip to Sorake. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

Debbie is a legend. Food is great, staff are friendly and willing to help. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We got great waves it was differently worth the journey. The old village is differently worth having a look with really friendly locals.

Kabunohi at Sorake is an awesome accommodation with good rooms, great meals and a very friendly host called Debbie. I stayed for 5 days with my family and would definitely go back there agian. Every morning I would wake up, grab my board and go for a quick surf. I would then come back, have a shower and walk down to the kitchen for breakfast. During the night, I slept well due to the air conditioning and nice beds. The food was very nice and had options like fresh fruit salad of seasonal fruits and local curries. Overall Kabunohi is my no.1 choice of accomodation for in Indo.

Kabunohi is a Fantastic place on one of Indo’s friendliest islands. The Wave (World class Mechanical perfection) is a 4 minutes walk away…. The Resort is absolutely Amazing ! Mark, the owner is a Legend here. His knowledge on the waves and on the whole Island’s culture is unique and very valuable ! Debbie, Mark’s Wife was taking care of everything regarding our well being. She is a hero. She makes sure that our rooms are always super clean and fresh. She is in charge of our super healthy food as well. Together with Sity they cook the most healthy and mainly organic food. After a full day’s Surf, eating so healthy kept me on top of my game. The Resort is so well built with attention to every detail. Great comfortable cozy rooms, A/C, hot water, very comfortable and quiet place. Beautifully decorated, it blends nicely with the environment here. I recommend Kabunohi 100%. It is Literally Paradise on Earth 🙏 Yiannis Nicolaou

KabuNohi is an oasis in the surf tourism driven township of Sorake. The bungalows are very cute and very comfortable with air con and hot showers. Debbie is an outstanding hostess, her English is excellent, she is very helpful with everything, well connected, and a great cook. We ended up coming back for a couple of nights after our trip to Telo and were very well looked after both times. We ate all our meals here and the food was excellent. You can choose from the menu for breakfast and lunch, but for dinner Debbie will always have a local specialty in stock. You can order a plate of fresh fruit or fresh juice at any time of the day. The hotel is very close to the break and you can watch the surf all day from the large deck and the hammock. Great spot for a massage too! We will definitely come back.
