This is an older premises, so the decor and condition reflect that. I stayed in room 9, the bed was a bit too soft for me and the height on the shower head could not be changed (too low for me). Otherwise the room was okay. Staff friendly and helpful. Free parking in car park at rear.

Comfortable bedding, nice sized room with bath. Car park outside and the main high street with a range of bars, restaurants and shops close by. Rooms well away from the main bar area with breakfast available and bar food on offer all day. Friendly staff at reception and generous check in/out times.

Everything as you would expect with bar and restaurant on site. I arrived by train and local Radiocab taxis were brilliant The hotel staff were polite and helpful
