Malheureusement, l'établissement laisse beaucoup à désirer ! Certes, le cadre est agréable; les lits sont confortables; la nourriture est bonne à très bonne; le petit déjeuner est tout à fait valable; le personnel est très serviable... MAIS l'hôtel se trouve au coin de deux routes très passantes, et le bruit des voitures, de jour comme de nuit, est extrêmement dérangeant. Rien n'a été fait pour améliorer la situation (comme un double ou triple vitrage). D'autre part, les murs entre les chambres laissent passer les sons d'un appartement à l'autre; les pompes amenant l'eau dans les salles de bains créent un bruit dérangeant... Bref, mieux vaut vous munir de boules Quies, et demander une chambre dans l'annexe, plus éloignée du trafic. Quant à la nourriture, n'espérez pas dîner le soir à l'hôtel : vous ne recevrez rien à manger, et tous les restaurants d'alentours sont fermés. Ceci est le comble pour un établissement qui n'est pas un restaurant, mais un hôtel ! Bref, les propriétaires doivent faire un bel effort pour mettre les équipements de l'endroit au niveau du prix trop élevé qu'ils demandent...

Friendly employees, comfy room with some nice touches such as chocolates and high quality coffee. The food was the best I’ve had for a while for both dinner and breakfast, highly recommend

A good stay - my room was very comfortable and quiet. Everything worked as it should. Breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent. Other meals were maybe slightly overpriced but this is pretty much the norm in Surrey pubs.

This nice old hotel has had a few reincarnations over the years and a big refurb a few years ago, it is now owned by Fullers.Had a good 3 night stay here last week, my room was quiet and comfortable with everything you could want including good quality coffee bags, fresh milk and chocolates. The rooms and corridors have many attractive old photos of local scenes. You get a particularly good breakfast included in the room rate with excellent freshly cooked mains. All staff were welcoming and helpful. I did not eat dinner here so can't comment on that but prices looked high even by Surrey pub standards. I would recommend checking the hotels own website for the best deal on rooms, they had a "stay 3 nights and save 25%" deal on when I booked.

Brilliant pub with amazing room and food. I stumbled upon this pub online and took a punt. What a find. Super cosy and well fitted out rooms. I managed to eat dinner twice and enjoy the breakfast during my stay. A fantastic restaurant menu with not your standard pub grub which was very welcomed. The breakfast menu was along the same vein. Shakshuka with poached eggs were brilliant and the coffee was on point. A real 10 out of 10 place to stay, eat, recharge and enjoy great staff. And all of this with a price point to embarrass other hotel chains with a fraction of the style or personal touch. Will be back again in a heartbeat.
