A stunning restoration of a Tudor manor house, the photos do not do it justice; the reality is breathtaking. I stayed in one of the feature rooms and it was beautiful. Original features were kept intact, it had a wonderful ambience and a view across the gardens and countryside beyond. The bathroom was huge and was pleasantly surprised the plumbing actually worked efficiently! I liked the fact all items in the mini bar were complimentary, a decent coffee machine and of course the usual kettle, even fresh milk for tea! Staff were all charming and efficient. The complimentary spa is set apart from the main building, there's a number of saunas, a steam room and outside jacuzzi. A small swimming pool and comfortable recliners. The restaurant was good and the Sommelier very knowledgeable. Breakfast was very good, the continental selection was acceptable and buffet style, the cooked breakfast presented a number of options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely be staying again in the future.
