Super 8 by Wyndham Oelwein

This has to be the cleanest Super 8 in the State of Iowa! Was very impressed with the room, the comfortable bed, the location and the staff was awesome. Everything was clean, the pillows were fluffy and the mattress was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Please stay here!!!

My coworker and I were charged 3 times the amount we were supposed to be. After settling the bill the Super 8 charged my coworker card 2 more times.

Amanda at the front desk was very kind and very polite. She provided bagged ice when the ice machine decided not to work. She got our TV up and running for us ASAP, when we called the desk to let her know. We will definitely be staying there again.

Clean environment, quiet, friendly people, easy location to enter and exit, large comfortable room, comfortable bed, heat works really well, plenty of blankets if needed, breakfast is available, great place to stay

Positive: Very professional staff, clean rooms. Not So Positive: no coffee in the room, only 1 cup in room, only one soap. Breakfast was pretty sparse--pretty bad when you put regular coffee in a decaff urn and add a paper sign.

My room was quiet, most importantly. The towel was service efficient as per covid protocols. I wanted a quiet, basic room to stay while visiting family. The microwave and refrigerator were helpful for in-between meals. I had a good experience.

Place was good, just bring your own pillow, they have very bad pillows, which made it hard to sleep. Otherwise property is clean and comfortable, friendly staff, breakfast was lame for todays standards.

We have stayed at this Super 8 a number of times over the years visiting family. Usually had a good stay until this time. They still advertise housekeeping and light breakfast. On our previous visits always had room cleaned daily and had cereal, toast, waffles and other items. This visit we had no one to clean our, just put linen in basket outside door and note if we needed anything else (i.e. coffee, cups, soap, etc.). As for breakfast, they provided coffee, juice, oatmeal bars, and Darlington packaged soft cookies (very light breakfast!!!). We stayed at Days Inn in October 2021 and a Super 8 in March 2020, they still lived up to our expectations of what we expected. The Oelwein Super 8 DID NOT!!!!!!!!! Definitely will rethink staying here again when we visit family.

This property was very clean and the support team took extra efforts to ensure safety and security. Staff is friendly and efficient. Room was very comfortable. TV was state-of-art with extensive satellite coverage. Fast internet connection. Will go back when in area.
