This hotel in Fenghuang was excellent! We were both American tourists that speak minimal Mandarin, and the owners were very patient in communicating with us. The owners were overall extremely kind, and they even upgraded our room for free. They also even walked us to the bus station when we left. The room was very clean and it was a great deal at its price. It was a perfect stay, and I would recommend anyone to stay here as well.

This boutique hotel is run by really nice and helpful people. We arrived around 9:00pm to the high speed railway station and there were no taxis or Didi available. We took the direct bus from the station to Qifeng Square which was a 7min walk from Hongqiao bridge and they went to pick us up to Qifeng square to help with our luggage (by foot of course, it’s basically a pedestrian area) ☺️. They were also kind enough to drop us off again to Qifeng square and helped with the bus tickets. Awesome customer service. The location of the hotel was in the middle of everything, the balcony was a highlight. Maybe cleanliness could be improved, and some things like the bathroom carpet should be replaced. But that’s it. Oh, there’s also this thing: while Fenghuang town is beautiful at night, it’s basically a party town when the sun sets. There’s a bar opposite to the hotel as other comments point out, but that’s not the only bar in the area. Wherever you walk along the river you will find a bar blasting music. Such a beautiful town ruined at night by bad local government regulations. If you like to sleep before 11:30pm (when music stops), maybe stay somewhere far away from the river. If sleeping late is okay for you, then this hotel works perfectly for the night.

There is no Didi in Phoenix, but you can call a taxi on Didi at the train station to Fengqiao for 26 yuan, and then walk there, which is very convenient. Our family of four checked in two days before the Mid-Autumn Festival, and there were not many people. The room is on the 3rd floor, spacious, bright and clean. It is a riverside room. There are tea sets on the terrace. The lights are beautiful at night, and there is a public balcony on the top floor. At around 5 pm, my daughter rented Miao costumes downstairs from the store. The makeup artist was very attentive. A passerby asked her where she rented it. My daughter forgot the name of the store and said it was in ”My Hotel” 😂

When traveling with the elderly at home, I made a lot of plans. It is better to contact the boss in advance when booking online. It is run by a brother and sister. The service is considerate, careful and worry-free. The accommodation environment is very user-friendly and all kinds of facilities are complete. Foreign tourists will not get lost when driving in the ancient city!

The location is quite convenient, not far from Hongqiao. The boss has a good service attitude. Since there is no elevator, the boss will help carry the suitcase upstairs. But the bathroom is too small, which is very inconvenient.

The location is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, which is especially suitable for people like me who come to the ancient city to relax. The proprietress is very nice. She should be a Buddhist believer and will teach you how to avoid pitfalls.

I visited Changsha with my girlfriend and then came to Fenghuang Ancient City. We have said it together many times during the trip. It is really important to book a good hotel! Write a small essay recommending this hotel at any cost 😂 It's really great! First of all, the sanitation is very good. My girlfriend has a cleanliness and she thinks it's not bad. Secondly, the location is very good, it is located in the middle section, it is very convenient for us to go outside to take pictures and go shopping Furthermore, I am very grateful. The boss is very honest and has helped us a lot. He is a good person. I think this is a very high evaluation 😂 Note: 1. It is not recommended to go to the scenic spots on the mountain if you don’t have enough time. It’s better to go shopping in the ancient city. 2. It’s recommended to find a clothing store and order a package for shooting. Quite a few. My girlfriend’s photos are super beautiful, but she won’t let me post them here haha. 3. The horn comb here is actually pretty good. You can consider it. 4. There are many clean bars in the ancient city, and the atmosphere and singing are very good, but the wine It is more expensive, and the shops in the ancient city do not sell alcohol, so if you need it, you can buy some wine outside in advance and sit by the river outside the bar to enjoy! The last point, don’t make a fuss when you come out to play, be more tolerant of each other 😂

The room is very good, clean and hygienic, the location is very good, the scenic spot is right at the door, the boss's service is very good, there is also Xiaodu in the room, which is very smart, and I also tried the Miao costumes for free. The experience was excellent. I will come again next time if I have the chance, and I will also recommend friends to Shuiyunzhijian

Fenghuang on a Saturday is so incredibly crowded and touristy. The rooms here had very poor sound insulation so beware if you’re a light sleeper or request a room on the interior (with less light). The squat toilets were difficult for my older relatives to manage and the bathrooms didn’t smell great. But it’s an ancient town, so what do you expect. The staff were friendly and helped us with our bags to the road. It was great to be able to converse with them through WeChat as no one spoke any English.

I really recommend this homestay. I came to visit the ancient city on May 1st and stayed for two days. The environment is very clean and comfortable, with local characteristics and very warm. The location of the house is very good. It is in a small alley with a nice view (at the end of an impassable alley, usually no one passes by, so it is very quiet). It is located in the center of the ancient city, and it is convenient to go anywhere. The owner is very friendly Enthusiastic, after getting off the shuttle bus, the boss personally greeted us and led us to our residence. Along the way, he also introduced the attractions of the ancient city in detail, recommended several affordable restaurants, and gave us a lot of suggestions for sightseeing , there are two cute cats in the homestay, it is a good choice anyway!
