The room is not big, and it is difficult to open a large suitcase on the floor. The bathroom only has a bathtub, but the water flow is very good, which is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.
A glass of fresh beer is given to you when you check in, which tastes good. You can also choose whiskey.
The accommodation fee includes breakfast, which needs to be pre-selected in advance, one per person.
The hotel is not big, and there are probably only six rooms.
You can have lunch and dinner in the hotel, and the price is moderate compared to the surrounding area. Compared with the Chinese restaurant mentioned on the Internet, I think this place is more suitable.
Especially the steak is good, 200 grams of steak plus side dishes for 39 Canadian dollars.
I stayed here for two days and saw that there are not many places to eat around.

Fergus is a charming town and the Breadslbane is well located and popular for dinner. It does have a charm and ambience for dining. Nice sheets.
However, the price per night was very expensive, the rooms were cold (difficult to heat) and in need of renovations with dated 70's mismatched furniture. (They provide an electric floor heater to help heat the rooms). Updating like chargers get cell phones, and it would be nice to have a place to hang clothes for example instead of leaving everything in a suitcase. Also maintenance was needed. The light bulbs were out, ceilings were stained, the toilet tank had a large chip, and there was mould in the shower.
They were unstaffed but the staff that showed up worked very hard and were all very nice. Especially the girl with purple highlights. She managed everything from breakfast to housekeeping.
Enjoyed our stay but for the high price, the maintenance issues should be addressed and it would be nice to have housekeeping

The staff are absolutely wonderful who welcome you with the utmost of respect and friendliness.
The property is beautiful and our Room was well appointed with the necessities (though I wish there was a mini fridge!). The room was a bit musty but that comes with age I guess but other than that, we had a wonderful night.

Enjoyed our stay overall. Accommodation was lovely and staff were attentive and friendly.
Only unsatisfactory aspect of our stay was the food both in the bar for an evening meal and at breakfast. Bar food was of poor quality and poorly presented. Breakfast was better though didn’t seem freshly prepared and took far too long to serve.
