In kamer 113 werkt de airco niet Geen zender BVN Je moet in het bad staan om te douchen Goed bed, schone kamer. Goede verlichting. Goede ligging. In minder dan een half uur ben je in het centrum of bij het Dali Museum. Het diner is ovedreven duur. Ga in de stad eten dat is goedkoper en beter. Als je het ontbijt niet hebt bijbesteld is het een merkwaardige onderneming. Dan moet je alles bijbetalen, ook de jus d'orange ook al zeggen ze bij de receptie dat het ontbijt €12,40 kost en je keuze hebt uit allerlei producten. Je wordt bediend! En één kopje koffie is inbegrepen Het t****e kopje moet je betalen. Héél merkwaardig!

Extérieurement l'hôtel est jolie mais l'intérieur est très vieux, la chambre est vieillotte et tous en vieux bois, des rideaux en tissus, le balcon: deux chaises sans tables avec vue sur les poubelles, l'hôtel se situe entre deux routes dont une très passante, pas mal de bruit. Les poussières ne sont pas faites (j'ai fais des photos). J'avais pris une chambre avec grand lit double, j'ai eue deux petit lit séparé.. la climatisation était de l'ancien temps je ne sais même pas comment elle marchait..les points positifs : chausson, coffre fort et salle de bain avec baignoire. . Point négatif : pas de piscine, propreté médiocre, bruyant et mauvaise vue et bien-sûr j'avais payez plus cher pour pouvoir annuler si besoins et aucun recours car les annulations se faisait avant midi alors que nous arrivons sur site à 14h... L'hôtesse d'accueil peu sois disant rien faire..Je recommande pas du tout..

A l’aller, nous avons été très satisfaits à tous points de vue mais au retour, l’ascenseur officiel était en panne et nous avons dû changer de chambre car la baignoire perdait de l’eau et a causé une bonne inondation( chambre 304. La seconde chambre(311) avait un problème dans la salle de bain avec une lampe qui faisait beaucoup de bruit et la chasse d’eau des toilettes méritant une révision.
Les repas du soir sont excellents, gastronomiques assez chers , car à la carte; pas de menu mais nous a laissés satisfaits dans la qualité.
La réceptionniste bien chargée s’est démontrée infiniment aimable et cherchant à nous satisfaire.
Nous suggérons une révision plus fréquente des salles de bain, des porte- fenêtres car le matériel n’est pas tout récent malgré la rénovation.
Quoiqu’il en soit, nous y retournerons malgré tout si l’occasion se présente

Un lugar delicioso para celebrar una comida de cumpleaños... bien, para celebrar cualquier cosa ;-) Desde su fundación, en 1961, el Hotel Empordà, conocido popularmente como el "Mòtel", es referencia de la alta cocina catalana. Degustar su cocina resulta imprescinible.

External traffic noise was horrendous, we had a rooms at the front (main access road into Figueres) and a room at the rear of the hotel (bypass road that every one uses - built of cobble section). For a quality very disappointed would not recommend.

Hotel familial, accueil prévenant, endroit calme et confortable. Une bonne adresse pour une étape reposante, sur la route des vacances en Espagne. Pratique aussi pour la visite du musée Salvador Dali, situé à 10 minutes à pied.
