les chambres sont correct et confortable et l ensemble propre mais vieillissant. Mais en cette période ,entrer dans une chambre froide équipée d'un radiateur ”petit” ,fait que le temps qu'elle met à atteindre une température ambiant ”normale” vous oblige presque à conserver son blouson (humour , pas vraiment...) d'ou le titre de mon avis , car pour l ensemble vous méritez un 4....

The hotel is a modern hotel, which is renovated or very recently, and offers a relaxing and relaxing stay. The area is quiet despite the first impression. The breakfast is well provided and especially mainly with products from the region, so it is good to note, of the real pressed orange juice, and of course Bretagne forces you will have the right to four quarters and crepes home.. very nice.. If you are a military (National Marine) or a military family, please make sure you will have a small reduction.. In conclusion for a next stay in Brest, we will return to it !!

The room was perfect for a stay, well equipped and quiet. Good bed. Near the city. Unfortunately, the smell of cigarette in the room was persistent,but we were given the opportunity to change the room. Arrived late at night and checked in easily on the check-in screen. Hotel seems a bit tired and in need of updating. The room was OK, if a bit small. Breakfast limited but a very nice welcome from the girl on reception made up for this. The hotel is conveniently located very near to the Park and Ride into Brest, at the end of the tram route.

Everything was clean, but only ceiling is not clean. But I am okay with that.
I arrived the hotel late, but there was information in front of the main entrance with wrong number in English. I was nervous that I can't enter the building, because there isn't way to call the hotel.
But after then, I found correct number in French, and person in charge informed me how can I enter the main entrance. He was kind. (I told it to reception, so she might change it) But I couldn't face the person in charge at around 22:00, and there is only way by call. Anyway, I could easily take a key (It was in the mail box with password) and enter the room.
For the next day, the person in charge at reception was kind. She kept my luggage kindly for my trip.

GGuest UserWhat a transformation from the last time we stayed here which I admit was a long time ago but it’s definitely a case of the ugly duckling into a beautiful swan to use a fairy tale comparison.
Now a ”Hotel The Originals” the rooms have been completely revamped and brought right up to date with not just a new look but also a new quality to the furniture and fittings.
The shower room is really good, the WC is separate and the bed was really comfortable.
It’s good to have a desk and a small armchair too and there’s a lot of space in the fitted wardrobe.
Clean, modern lines with the decor and the room was spotless.
The only slight hitch was that the sliding door to the balcony was really stiff and I presumed it must still be locked somehow until the receptionist came to open it and basically it just needed a lot more force than I was using. That having been said though that was the only very slight hitch.
The rooms now have electric roller blinds so that’s a plus too.
On-site parking is included in the price of the room and there is lots of it which is one of the main reasons we booked as Roscoff now with it’s “blue zone” parking in town can be difficult, especially if you want to park close to your hotel or if your car is laden to the gunwales and you don’t want to leave it on the street some hundred yards from where you’re staying.
The location of the hotel is very good as there’s a small path which leads from the hotel to the centre of town and takes just a couple of minutes to walk.
I can’t comment on the breakfast though as we had to leave early in the morning before breakfast was served (breakfast starts at 07.00).

Surprisingly good! The rooms where very clean and recently refurbished. The shower was great, warm and a good pressure. The food in the restaurant was lovely! Would really recommend eating at the hotel as there doesn’t seem to be much around. The staff were all so welcoming and kind! Our French wasn’t great but luckily we all managed!! The only thing I would say to improve would be for tea and coffee to be supplied in the room, there was a kettle but no tea and coffee.

JJIAOHotel room type is smart, it is good. It is also unambiguous in every detail. Various daily necessities are also unambiguous. When the sun is shining, the sun shines through. Very comfortable. Breakfast is also very rich, sausage bacon, eggs. It’s also a pleasant thing to have a brunch here.

Par contre, pas dormi de la nuit après l’arrivée d’un couple avec un enfant qui n’a fait que pleurer une grande partie de la nuit… Mauvaise insonorisation. Buffet petit déjeuner bon et complet avec une belle vue. Pour le Check out, nous avons abordé le bruit de la nuit par le Directeur de l’établissement qui a eu d’autres remarques sur ce fait. Ils nous a dit que ce couple s’était excusé. Mais, pas de geste de la part du directeur. Dommage… Bon accueil du directeur le soir au Check-in. Le lendemain, celui-ci semblait débordé (manque de personnel). Dommage !

GGuest UserDas Hotel liegt sehr außerhalb in einem Industriegebiet. Da wir spät ankamen, war die Rezeption nicht besetzt und wir mussten mit einem Code ins Hotel und ins Zimmer. Im Bad war ein großer Schimmelfleck an der Wand und die Dusche war an sämtlichen Stellen schimmelig. Das Fenster war uralt, hält keinerlei Lärm ab und war ebenfalls schimmelig. Da die Rezeption ja nicht besetzt war, mussten wir in dem klammen Zimmer schlafen. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir uns direkt an den Hotelmanager gewandt. Er sah absolut kein Problem und ist recht patzig geworden, als wir ihn um ein anderes Zimmer oder die Erstattung für die kommende Nacht gebeten haben, damit wir uns ein anderes Hotel suchen können. Er könne nicht verstehen, warum uns das bisschen Schimmel stört, er hätte sich noch niemand beschwert. Da wir nicht alles auf französisch verstanden haben, haben wir darum gebeten, dass er englisch mit uns spricht. Daraufhin meinte er nur, er sei Franzose und da spreche er eben französisch. Ein anderes Zimmer könne er uns nicht geben, da das Hotel ausgebucht sei. Ach langem Hin und Her ist er wütend aus dem Zimmer gerannt und plötzlich konnte er uns doch ein anderes Zimmer anbieten. Das war zumindest nicht klamm und hatte nur leicht Schimmel am Vorhang und ein bisschen in der Dusche. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, dem Standort von Ibis Budgets entsprechend. Wir sind seit vielen Jahren begeisterte Ibis und Ibis Budget Nutzer, aber sowas haben wir noch nicht erlebt!

So we returned for perhaps our 4th stay,still satisfied with the hotel and staff. This time we decided to go for a suite with seperate lounge area and balcony. This was great as it is nice to sit in your bedroom and relax without having to rest on the bed. We did have one issue with the bedroom this time time,believe it or not the bed was to big!!!! Not for us but for the room we both felt that it was a squeeze in the room,I had to practically fight with the curtains to get in and out of bed.The room number by the way is 217,and other suites are available. Also if staying for a short period and you want to take advantage of the spa ask first to make sure all the facilities are open we found that the sauna was closed which made the steam room a bit crowded at times. Overall we will go back.
