For a road warrior that spends 20 nights a month in hotels, this Residence Inn is like a comfy old couch. The property itself is due for an upgrade/facelift/refresh-but it’s clean, comfortable and has extremely helpful and friendly staff. That’s what REALLY sets it apart is the staff and management. From Miguel at the front desk in the morning, to Alfreda and Becky at night with Manager Steve leading up the team, this is one of the better Residence Inn experiences I’ve had. Reason for 4 instead of 5? Dinging a half star for the old style magnetic keys that after trudging up to my room at night, I have to go back downstairs and get reset every night and another half star for the cups of Quaker oatmeal vs a big pot (I’m a big oatmeal bar guy and 90% of the other Residence Inn/extended stay spots have one) The breakfast is ok-but could do a touch better (microwave sandwiches vs a few more hot options-they don’t have a ton of room tbh) As for the keys-I just have them reset my keys in the morning and grab a cup of oatmeal to go. Then at night out of habit-I come in and get rekeyed-but remember they’re changing this over prior to the holidays. TLDR: EXCELLENT staff and management, older but clean and very comfortable furnishings, decent but room for improvement on breakfast.
