First time for us to stay at Hilton Inn at Fishkilll.
It was very quiet environment and there is a supermarket nearby and some restaurants so it was very convenient.
Room: spacious and comfortable and big bed we were able to rest well. Although we could hear boiler or some sort of machines noise all the time where we stayed at 2F…except that it was lovely stay. They’ve got a spacious fridge and big desk which was also lovely to have during our stay.
Amenities: we were surprised that there was no kettle provided in a room but probably it’s common in the US, but at least they had a microwave so we were able to boil water. We asked reception if we could borrow a kettle and they said they would come back by a call but they never came back to us.
Reception: was nice and friendly people were there. When we forgot a jumper they kept it so it was helpful, thanks to cleaning ladies and receptionist. Thank you!
Check-out: they kindly allowed us to stay till 12:00 which was helpful as we had to pack everything and didn’t want to rush.

I stayed one night on our way to New England. The rooms were nice and clean . It's not run down as some reviews stated. The pool was crowded and the $10 per person breakfast or meal credit was a nice touch for gold members. Its located in a quiet area in the back close to a big lake.

This is a standard Hilton Garden Inn, which is my preferred hotel when traveling for business. The room was spotless with no chemical odors. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was perfectly comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows. The bathroom towels were soft and ample. Check-in in was painless, polite and friendly. I was exhausted from a long trip and so I wasn't particularly cheerful, but the person who checked me in made it easy. I wish I had gotten her name so I could recognize her here, but I was so tired I neglected to do so. The location, right off Rt 84 is super convenient for travelers. On the whole this Hilton met all my expectations, and at a reasonable price.

Overall, we are just disappointed in this Hilton. The shower curtain was broken , there was visible sloppy repairs done on the curtain rod. There were only 3 towels and room service only came every other day. There was only one outlet in the bathroom.
When we are paying for a room, daily service should not be negotiable. The bathroom door would not stay shut, so there were deeps scratches on it from the main door. The room was dated and shabby. We will be coming back to Fishkill, but not staying there.

The staff was the greatest element of our stay, they were truly fantastic. Professional, friendly and personable, especially Peter at the front desk - and Johny the bartender. The facilities were clean and well-maintained with the exception that the Jacuzzi had been in operable for several months, including while we were there and the hotel was undergoing an overhaul on their water system, shutting off the water from 11 to 4 during the day that we were there. This caused some discomfort and a minor hardship but overall the day was good.

The property had a few issues - broken ice machines, spa out of order and a temporary ac unit out in the front of the property- contributed to the good not excellent rating. Property could use an update, that being said staff was very friendly and accommodating.
