Went to this property for a wedding. I had high expectations for a Hyatt. There were just a few little things that bothered us that made our stay less than ideal. The hotel allowed parties in the lobby/breakfast area after hours. This went on well after midnight and was quite loud. We had friends staying on the first floor close to the lobby and were quite disturbed. They were forced to change their room the next day. They really should have a curfew or move these to a conference room. The breakfast really wasn't anything special. We've had better at Comfort Inns and Suites. There really wasn't enough fresh fruit and they didn't have any apple juice. We had a King suite which was quite comfortable. What bothered us was that the person on the sleeper sofa had to come through the bedroom to go to the bathroom. So there wasn't any sense of real privacy even though the bedroom had doors that closed.

I expected way better from Hyatt. I was put in a supposed "preferred" room, but the bathroom was a total safety hazard with black mold in the shower and broken tiles that gave me a severe, painful scratch on my toe. When I called the front desk, they couldn't care less. I even saw a supervisor with maintenance on my floor right after, but they literally sprinted toward the exit when I tried flagging them down. I had to go down to the desk myself. The manager took his time showing up, only to say, "My colleague filled me in, we will reimburse your stay." Zero check on whether I was okay, no offer of help, and no assurance they'd fix the room for the next guest. I get that hotels run full, but basic safety and zero black mold are non-negotiable. Getting ignored the second I got hurt made a bad room ten times worse. Definitely not the standard I expected from Hyatt.

Excellent experience in Hyatt House Fishkill. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Very clean room with all the essentials. Near restaurants, shopping centers and highways.

The location was extremely busy area with shopping centers very close by. When we got there, they had had guests from a wedding so we were not able to get into our room right away. However, it was not very long after we had gotten lunch that we were able to get into our room. Very spacious wonderful sitting area, full-size refrigerator dishwasher even an induction stove with two burners. There were plates and silverware as well when I needed ice to top off my cooler because we were leaving very early in the morning the next day, the gentleman behind the counter I’m sorry I was very tired. Do not remember his name. Got the Ice for me. Later in the evening when we requested more waters because of all the traveling, we had been doing we were given more bottled water. Parking was very convenient out front of the hotel. The shower was very nice and so were the beds and pillows. We only stayed literally for a few hours and left before Dawn the next day, but the amount of time that we spent there was relaxing.

The hotel appeared to have been recently renovated. The lobby was very inviting and the rooms were clean and modern. Enjoyed my stay.

Great location, very safe. Nice hotel with lots of green grass surrounding hotel. Accommodated my service animal with first room floor.

We stayed in a two bedroom trio suite for a week. The condition of our room made it impossible to relax and get comfortable. Management resolved the issues with the HVAC unit and the light on the range hood. If you are dissatisfied with anything, be sure to get resolution while you are there. After the fact, I received compensation points equal to one half of a night. Completely unacceptable! I escalated the matter to corporate with the pictures and never heard from them. Below are my issues along with pictures. 1. Two loose screws holding on the cover to the HVAC unit. A filthy filter. Subsequently, no heat/ac to the 2nd bedroom. 2. No working vent or light on the range hood. 3. Kitchen drawers poorly held together with metal brackets. 4. Multiple holes in the blackout shades. 5. Unfinished repair work on the bathroom ceilings. 6. Toilets that needed multiple flushes to empty. 7. Paint patch up spots all over the walls. 8. Both bathroom sinks had overflow holes filled with mold. 9. No cap inside the dishwasher to hold the detergent in place.

This hotel is just what I needed: peaceful, quiet, and homey. The fact that it is right across from Walmart is a bonus. The hotel's generosity with the refreshments (the popcorn and the water with lemon in the lobby) made me feel right at home. I stayed on the fourth floor and the noise level was non existent. The pool and the exercise rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room was attractive and clean.The front desk staff is alert and friendly.
