We didn’t stay at the hotel, we had an AirBnb nearby and this was around the corner from us so we used the restaurant a couple of times. The food was fantastic! Some of the best pizza and bruschetta we had during our time in Italy. However, the service really really let it down. The first time we visited, we arrived around 10pm due to our flight’s late arrival, but we were still able to get drinks and food. Service was slow, but we appreciated that it was busy and we weren’t in any rush, but it did take a good 30+ minutes to get the bill when we were done. The food was good enough that we wanted to return a second time. The second time, we arrived and were told by a man behind the bar to go and sit down and someone would be over, so we sat by the pool. After 30/40 minutes, no one had come to us so I went to the bar to order, where I was met with “oh you can’t sit outside, we are fully booked”, even though I told her we were instructed to sit down with no reservation (the restaurant was also very quiet with many empty tables). We placed our order for two pizzas to take away instead, and stood waiting at the bar for it. When the pizza came, only one arrived, and when I asked about the second pizza they realised it hadn’t actually been ordered, so we had to wait an extra 10 minutes for it to be made. They did say we could have it on the house, but at this point I just wanted to leave 😅 We walked back to our accommodation carrying our pizza in boxes and ate it at home, and while it was still delicious I couldn’t get over how rude the staff had been to us, all because we were not guests of the hotel. All in all, the food was great, service was slow, and the staff seemed bored and irritable, as if it was an inconvenience to serve their own customers.

Hotel provides airport shuttle, however difficult to find the pick up point at the airport. Room was very clean with blackout curtains, bed was very comfortable, bad room and shower are very small. Staff at Reception and restaurant is very polite. Swimming and Gym are very modern. Had a late Dinner at the on-site restaurant, delicious with reasonable price. Breakfast in the morning with many choices. Enjoyed my layover and would book it again!

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. It is pretty good for a hotel near the airport. This time, the hotel gym was closed for maintenance. Attached is the hotel's airport bus schedule. You must book a seat from the hotel to the airport when you check in. The 7am bus is very full. If you don't book it, the taxi is 25 euros to the airport.

Small humble hotel that works hard to create a nice stay while waiting for an early morning flight. Very close to assorted restaurants, stores and other amenities. 3 star hotel but is worth the stay. Our room had A/C, nice TV, Internet and decent bath. Bring a converter to make sure you have electric when you need it.

We stayed at Villa Erasi the night before an early flight to NY, to be close to the airport. It became one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy. The room was beautifully designed and outfitted with amenities (including AC, which we found was not always a thing in Italy, especially in October). There was a lovely breakfast in the main room. The owner, Leandro, suggested a local restaurant for dinner which provided the most memorable pasta meal of our vacation! Finally, Leandro saved us from disaster, as the taxi drivers called a strike on the morning of our flight, and he got us to the airport. More than 5 stars 👍👍👍👏👏👏

We've stayed at Domus Lina several times. It's a fantastic value and located in a great part of the town of Fiumicino. It's a boutique hotel that has many personal touches. I recommend one of the larger rooms with the balcony. Check in is at 2pm. Once you have your room key, you're also given a front door code to use when the manager is not there. If you're around in the morning (many folks have an early departure at the airport), the breakfast on offer is fantastic. And just across the street is a wonderful fish restaurant to have dinner or lunch at.

Quality, cleanliness and availability beyond my expectations, although we booked with only one day in advance we were welcomed as usual customers, the reception was perfect in organizing and managing our Check-in in advance. This is a beautiful and clean room, a friendly, professional and careful staff. I have stayed in many hotels and I can assure you that whoever carries out his profession in this facility does it with passion and dedication to the client, because knowing “host” is an art and you find here real artists. The only regret is that I have stayed one night, and I hope that I will soon remedy it and return to us soon.

This will be a 2 part review. First of all, the good news: excellent position for the airport, wonderful reception staff and impeccable facilities. On top of this you have free parking as well and the atmosphere is incredibly fascinating. On the other hand, the breaksfast is absolutely inadeguate for a 4 Stars superior resort: the bare minimum (if that!) and no coffee or water unless you explicitly ask for it. I really felt unease as the waiter was completely ignoring the guests and no please, thankyous or any host politeness whatsoever. Finally, I was rudely woken up by the cleaners at 9am as they burst into the room with no knocking or advice. Not ideal if you're trying to rest before an extremely long journey and the check-out is only at 11:30. This place has a huge potential but unfortunately such details really affect the review of a 4 star resort like Porto Romano.

We originally booked this for two nights in October on a room only basis through Agoda , but after our friends flew home , we decided we liked it so much that we would stay on for another two nights instead of going elsewhere in Italy.Breakfast was included this time at a very reasonable rate. Our rooms on the ground floor were of a good size with comfortable beds . Our laundry was done and we discovered a new aperitif called Aperol Spritz. We loved the friendly helpful staff. The gardens are lovely and it felt like home. If we were flying from Fiumicino again we would definitely stay here for a few days.

JJUANThe environment is OK, the room is quite big, you can book a special bus to go to the airport, 7 euros a person, 10 minutes drive from the airport, breakfast is small, very general, but the front desk has a small brother 24 hours, can communicate at any time, cute and Good talk, there is a supermarket nearby, a snack street, and I left the food stalls of the local family to drive around the night before leaving Rome.

GGuest UserI chose to stay at Suite Room Fiumicino for its location close to the airport, the free private parking, and the reasonable price that includes breakfast. My room was small but had all the amenities I required, the breakfast was exactly what I was looking for and the staff was friendly. The place has a homey atmosphere and a beautiful garden. This is a place I would choose to stay again.

GGuest UserWe saw pictures of the hotel and the price was good, a bit outside Rome but we rented a car. We booked 10 days in a handicappedroom, not refundable. My 89yo mother was traveling with us in a wheelchair. The room was not handicapped but they promised us to change us in 1 or 2 days but lied. On the way there I was in a car accident and broke 3 ribs. At the beginning of our vacation I couldn't sight see so we stayed at the hotel for 4 days and left. The 24-hour lobby was closed that first night, and there were no ice machines anywhere. The owners yell and scream at each other. Housekeeping leaves the hotel at 2pm so we couldn't get new towels or our room cleaned for 2 days and when they did, they left the dirty with my blood sheets on the bed then when I complained the wife called me a liar and said I just put that there. The cot had stains on it with no mattress protector on it. This was all day 4. We called and booked the B&B Hotel in Rome for the rest of our vacation, and wow, what a difference! Great service, clean, better breakfast, and nice happy people. If you are staying here overnight on business, I'd say it's a good deal, but if it's for a vacation, stay away. This is not a place for families and is dark in the hallways, dirty, they control the AC unit, it is a poor hotel

DDongyaoHi, don’t give me wrong, it’s not a bad hotel! Low score is not towards the hotel but to the FCO. I got a late arrival flight, and were mind set for a rip off taxi. Yet, I was in lieu but all of sudden told that I need to go to the other side to take a taxi, by the ground transportation control personnel. Yap, I obeyed and went there, and took a taxi. There we go! The start of the scam. 85 euro, I took that, no problem, since it was 1:00 AM, and I do respect people work that shift. I can see the scanner to charge on CC, but I was told I have to pay cash, which is also ok. I am not ready for that much cash, and we went to an ATM, and it didn’t work ofc since it’s an international transaction. So, I was asked for $150 for the total. Wait a minute, $150 = €85? I am at least an elementary graduate man, and I do know the math. After all the mouthwatering drying process, I was off the hook, by telling I don’t mind to be offloaded and got police attended. Finally, I checked in the hotel 2:00 AM or so and by then I started the good time. Nice front desk, and more than expected room space. The location is not really good, but the scenery is perfect. The breakfast is a good start, and once I decided I will go to Rome by public transportation, I do find the option. That’s the story: no complain to the hotel, but not feeling so well with FCO. Overall, do money change as more than you thought before you are in Rome.

GGuest UserThis place provided a great two bedroom suite for three of us to rest our weary heads! It might not work well for all travelers of 3 because the access to the bathroom was through the smaller bedroom. The owner speaks English and was very accommodating. He was so kind and helpful. The room we were in was within a locked gate making us feel very secure. I was delightfully surprised when I initially walked in the room. The shower was bigger than most that we experienced in Italy. Dining in the walkable area is limited but doable. A/C in each room worked well. Refrigerator had to be turned on when we arrived but worked fine. TV in the main bedroom. It is located on a side street but because of it's proximity to the airport the planes fly very low overhead.

HHeather___The room is very large ... suitable for a family outing ... a loft booked with one bedroom and one living room, there are three beds in it, and a separate bedroom with a large bed is very suitable for family outings! Because there is only one toilet, the family travel is ok to sleep four or five people. The shortcoming is that the heating is not good ... there is only central air conditioning in the room but there seems to be no hot air ... but the room is not cold ... there is a radiator in the toilet😂

JJiulianyiIt is very close to the airport. After arriving at the hotel, I booked a drop-off for the next day. The price was 35 euros. Round trip is 55 euros. Needless to say, it was quite expensive, mainly because the flight the next day was a bit early, so I booked a hotel drop-off for fear of not being able to get a taxi.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very beautiful and the room is very hygienic. The first floor is arranged for us, and there is a small courtyard at the entrance. The hot water is very comfortable and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is OK, both are very sweet breads and drinks. The service staff is also very friendly. The only fly in the ointment is that we booked the shuttle bus to the city center the next day. Before I left, I confirmed that the car was at the end of the Colosseum. The driver confirmed it. But halfway through, the driver put us down and said a lot of Italian that I don't understand, as if it was a martial law in the city center. In any case, we should inform us in advance, instead of throwing us down halfway.
