The hotel is a few minutes off the M1 and on its own. It is not in a service area, there is no petrol or other services on site, just this hotel. My room was very poorly lit, which for a room described as 'accessible' seemed not good enough. Room and bathroom were fine. However, guests in the next room talking very loudly at 1am were not welcome as I had an early start the next day. Maybe not the fault of the hotel except the noise was heard via a connecting door between the rooms which was locked but not well insulated so every word could be heard.
Very helpful staff and clean rooms made for a comfortable stay.

我想投訴5月31日晚間的前台 態度相當惡劣 對亞洲人有歧視 預訂了9間雙床房 在check-in時強行分配了8個大床房 前台一句話"沒有雙床房了" 請問前台我預訂的是什麼?即便他們不是couple 同性被迫睡在一張床上 而且沒有額外的duvet/comforter 衹有cover! 你猜怎麼著 客人不得不 cover on top of another cover 直到不冷
大部分房間分配在2樓 沒有搬運服務 絕不幫助你搬運行李 對於一個50-80歲的旅行團來説 這是相當糟糕的

This is the worst hotel I have ever seen. No credit, no contract spirit. Don't book it.
I want to complain to the front desk on the evening of May 31. The attitude is quite bad. There is discrimination against Asians. I booked 9 twin rooms. When checking in, I was forced to allocate 8 double rooms. The front desk said "there are no twin rooms". What did I book? Even if they are not a couple, the same sex is forced to sleep in one bed. There is no extra duvet/comforter, only cover! Guess what, the guest has to cover on top of another cover until it is not cold.
Most of the rooms are allocated on the second floor. There is no porter service. They will never help you carry your luggage. For a tour group of 50-80 years old, this is quite bad.
Racism, no contract spirit, no credit, bad attitude, poor service, these are the keywords of this hotel.

I booked a small single room for business travel, and it was a small room. Other than that the facilities are typical of a Holiday Inn / chain hotel. The thing that stood out was the attitude of the staff. Reception checking in and out, bar and breakfast were all efficient and very friendly. Even a member of housekeeping that I passed in the corridor gave me a cheery greeting. I might have left an average review, but the staff at this hotel deserve a mention. They set me off in a good mood.

This hotel is near the M1. We booked as a simple overnight stay to break up an extended drive. The room was for a family of four, fully prepaid in advance. We arrived after midnight to be told the hotel was somehow overbooked and that we (and apparently others before us would have to find alternative accommodation). Being fair the receptionist assisted us, but given the time it took 30 minutes to find another hotel that could accommodate. This was a further 50 minute drive. and we had to pay again in full. There was no attempt to contact us before arrival to warn us of the issue, indeed we received instead welcome messages. Two days on, despite contacting the hotel I. The morning we have not even received acknowledgment of our complaint. The hotel still has our prepayment and we are out of pocket rack rate for another hotel for what was now down to 3 hours sleep before our flight. Never experienced a farce like this before.

Stayed here a few days ago for couple of nights, Hotel is mainly all on a flat level, fairly quiet by H.i standards, As we were going out following day for lunch, we opted for evening food at hotel upon arrival, We were warmly greeted by the young girl on bar duty, who came & took out orders. would like to give a name check , but sadly did not catch her name tag, but would say she coped extremely well when being on her own, the restaurant soon filled up & still she was left on her own, food ordered was ok ,it is what it is, This location was not quite up to as good as other HI locations we have stayed at this year. They could do with putting a water dispenser out on bar area like others. We probably would return again for a convenient stopover.

One night stay to break long journey. Rural location. Plenty parking. Good friendly reception. Clean generic room on ground floor. Bathroom has useful small night light. Evening meal served in good time. Breakfast, like usual Holiday Inn menu. The building is spoilt by poor internal soundproofing. TV mounted on wall. Noise travels between rooms and from corridor to room.

our stay at the holiday inn Northampton west was lovely! me and our friends came down for a wedding and everything at the weekend was perfect!!! the rooms were clean and fresh and the beds were comfy to sleep on:) the food was nice with a lovely sitting area. the staff on check in were lovely, Tommy was brilliant with us, looking after us and always being there to help even throughout the busy periods, top marks to him a lovely young man and has quite the charm as well. Michelle also was brilliant throughout our stay!

Stayed a few times - really nice hotel amazing staff , have been when it has been extremely busy and the girls , Jessica , lissya, Betty?? , Tommy, have been incredibly amazing to watch, the way they work is fantastic- not overly impressed with the large lady on reception, never seen her move always sitting down - not nice when she speaks to staff - is her hair really acceptable as it is an awful colour why is she not helping, has she ever ventured to any other part of the hotel - she has been rude to me, i ignore it, she clearly has a problem , not good to see - I suggest taking chairs away so she stands and looks more professional and a smile goes a long way - I have mentioned it to other staff and they have said nothing gets done the general mangers thinks she is amazing , want do anything - to anyone that goes it’s an amazing hotel food is amazing - rooms a great size just try to avoid the grumpy looking one with wishy washy pink hair

The hotel is a lovely place in such a quiet location we stayed on a Sunday evening and didn't realise how quiet it would be , the staff on check in were lovely. the room was spotless and very modern. The young tall chap at the bar was amazing great customer service and brilliant manners, breakfast was a treat as well! overall a brilliant hotel.

We stayed here overnight whilst visiting family in Flore. We shared a 'family room' which was very reasonably priced. The room was warm and comfortable, very user friendly with a clean, neat shower room. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was fresh and clean. The bar area was relaxing with a choice of seating that would suit large groups or small cosy chats. The was a huge selection for breakfast, with both continental and full English choices (mix and match?) A special mention must go to Laura (reception, room service and, later, bar attendant!) Laura was so cheerful and friendly, and helped us out with information, local advice, and recommendations. Laura was attentive, kind and funny! Thank you, Laura! :-) Much appreciated!

Nice stay at this hotel. Super quick check in Clean room Nice bar Hotel was very quiet Couldn’t hear any road noise ( another review commented on the road noise ) so slept well. Lovely breakfast Friendly helpful staff Convenient location. Can’t fault it

Stayed three nights on business during a very cold spell of weather. On entering my room there was an electric radiator plugged in but the room still felt cold. Even the air conditioning unit on the heat setting didn’t warm the room so each evening I was under the blankets by about 7pm to try and stay warm. Breakfast was fine - I had porridge each morning, which was thick and filling.
