This hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. It had a lot of the things you would expect in a home, but not a hotel. It has an outside area with a grill, seating and a fire pit. It is equipped with all of the things you need for one night or for a month. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. We spent 4 nights here and on night 3 there was a 4 INCH long cockroach on our curtain. Called the front desk and they acted like this was not an unusual occurrence and asked what I wanted them to do (obviously come kill it, move us rooms, compensation, ANYTHING)

Need to be updated! Could hear things dropping in the room above. Had a good time in the pool and on the basketball court. Enjoyed sitting outside with family and conversing with other people lodging at the hotel Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Staff of Residence Inn by Marriott in Florence AL is the absolute worst I've ever experienced. General manager, Tammy Dawson, should be ashamed of herself. Dirty hotel, bugs, unsanitary beds, etc.....

The worst experience ever. They overbooked and then I was forced to put my elderly mother and my kids in two different rooms. I originally had the suite. My full review is on *******. This is not retaliation for the mess with the room but instead so everyone can see how filthy room 301 was. It was atrocious. Pictures show the truth.

Will always stay here! Best staff around. Will tell everyone I know to stay here! The rooms are so spacious. You can’t beat having a full kitchen at the same price as any regular hotel room. It feels like a small apartment.

The best in the area. Centrally located and friendly staff. The kitchen was an unexpected plus. I get so tired of eating fast food. I was able to cook. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to prepare a meal.

This used to be my favorite hotel in the Shoals area. Since COVID things have changed. No more evening socials. Breakfast was bare bones. Way less choices than the multiple other Marriott and non-Marriott brands I have stayed in during the last 6 months. Rooms are still nice. Didnt see any familar faces on staff while there. Wish it would soon return to being as good as pre-COVID.

I had the best time at The Residence Inn in Florence, AL. The entire team made me feel "at home" - I had a small issue, but they were able to make it right while I was still on property. I will definitely be staying again and again and AGAIN!
