Absolutely terrible. I tried to contact the property but no one was answering phone calls. I was unable to check-in so I had to find another hotel instead. Won't recommend it to anyone.

Advantages
1. The location is really good. It's right in front of Piazza del Duomo.
2. The front door is closed. If you press the Duomo view on the button next to it, the owner will open the door.
3. The manager is really kind. They explain things well and keep your luggage even after check-out at 9:45.
disadvantage
1. After the sun sets, people gather to sing and perform at Piazza del Duomo. It gets a little noisy from around 9 to 10 o'clock. If you are sensitive, it may be a little difficult for you.
2. The elevator is small and the stairs are high. It's big enough to fit two suitcases. You must lift your carrier and climb up yourself.
3. The facilities are a bit old and there is no refrigerator. But the view is really nice
It was a clean and comfortable hotel. Recommended if you value the view. And they say the rooftop is no longer available!

The view of the Duomo can’t be beat. It was the main reason we booked this stay. And it has a lift!! Take note the lift can only hold one person at a time (w luggage) and two if without luggages but all of that is great as opposed to lugging your stuff to the third floor lol. It was the prime spot for dining and shopping. The SMN station is also walkable from this spot. As it is in the piazza, it can get loud at night (everyone is on vacation, so that’s understandable) you can just close the windows. We were warmly greeted by the hosts and given clear instructions on elevator, breakfast, etc. It was the perfect stay for our holiday.

Not recommend
Horrible experience. They didn’t include a clear description and the bath is located out of the room. Also, the bathroom is so tiny.

Best Location
Location, location, location. Open the window and there is The Baptistery of St. John and Cathedral of Santa Maria. The room was clean and comfortable. My room only had one chair, and it is small...and that is perfect for a place to get rest and see Florence.

Great stay in a great location
Comfortable, clean stay in prime location near the Duomo and Baptistery. Great staff. Can get a little noisy at night with windows open, but if you close them you can't hear anything.
Breakfast is simple and delivered to your room: coffee, juice, croissant, rusks and jam.
Have stayed before and will stay again!
