Reethi Beach Resort

If you want to feel away from the everyday and relax feeling as if you are virtually the only people on the island, this is the place to be. Plus it has high quality food and great staff!

It was our first time in the Maldives (17/08/-27/08 2024) and we were delighted with the amazing views, tranquility and comfort of the island resort. Our holiday was fabulous. My husband and I enjoyed every moment. From the moment you step onto the island, you're immersed in an atmosphere of refined elegance. Everything was clean. The staff at Reethi Beach Resort (Baa Atoll) were outstanding in every way. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. I would like to express special gratitude to Bozgul, you could always contact her with any question, the bartender Natuf, as well as our waiters Madji, Alham, Akron for the attention and sensitivity shown to us. A special thanks to the manager Dammi who is real professional, very nice, friendly, always ready to help or explain if necessary. Always with a bright smile on his face and he did everything to make our stay as plasurable as possible. The Coconut Spa was definitely memorable, with massages and treatments. Whether it was the front desk, the housekeeping team, or the waitstaff at the restaurant, everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Beautiful atmosphere inside and outside around that part of the island. I've recommended this island to friends of mine going on their special event. As for us, we will definitely return,I hope.

The staff make this resort even more amazing. You feel special from arrival with the seaplane landing, and a short boat transfer to be greeted by music on the pier. Reception team are friendly and offer the calm you are looking for after a long journey. Immediately you can see how special the island is, covered in trees with private nooks and sand walkways so you don't even need shoes! There is a natural, rustic feels to the island with the tree lined paths and wooden buildings, which is refreshing as so many places are super modern styling by comparison. What I'd expected from a trip to the Maldives. A paradise. We stayed in a sunset villa. Accommodation hidden in the trees that leads straight to your own section of quiet beach with beautiful clear sea and white sand. Nothing has compared to that on many holidays I've taken before. The accommodation could be updated, and I think some were in the process of this so I'm sure future guests will start seeing that progress. However you've everything you need, clean and good service and free room water is always available. Thanks housekeeping! Evening walks down the beach to the sunset bar are a must. Great bar service there, and deck chairs to relax on, with a chocolate ice cream. The gym is well stocked and air con too. If you like weights, there is a good range plus a few cardio machines and weight machines. Staff in the restaurant went all out to help us with our toddler. Thank you to Kooky, Binara and Anurul to name a few of the great team. Special meals for the little one as needed, and the buffet selection for us was delicious! A great visit, thank you so much.

I had a magical time in Reethi Resort and I recommend everyone to take advantage of the charms the place. The nature is stunning, the personnel is always one step ahead of your needs and the the food is simply delicious thanks to Chef Farish. Would be unfair not to mention the most nicest staff in the main restaurant - Ajham, Akram and Majid Amman who can turn a simple dinner into a real celebration. Strong recommendation.

We have been to the Maldives now a few times and really felt the need to review this island resort. The island itself is small but plenty large enough for the numbers of rooms on the island. Also offers a choice of restaurants. We were all inclusive and mainly used the buffet. The island is very pretty with a very nice beach. Beautiful on the sunset side of the island. Really does have the Maldives picture postcard look. The house reef near the beach is not in great condition. But further out it is very good indeed. On the sunset side near the drop off you can see sharks, schooling fish, turtles, eagle rays, etc. On the other side, especially around dusk you can see nurse sharks, eagle rays, stingrays and reef sharks. We really recommend a night snorkel with the dive centre. The buffet food was excellent with a wide choice of things to eat. Our family found no issue (2 adults, a 15 year old and a 13 year old). Some nice things are arranged every week 2 highlights the Beach BBQ and Maldivian Night. When reading reviews you will hear people talking about the decor of the rooms and public areas. I don’t feel this is fair, the resort is older but captures the rustic Maldivian charm missing in some more modern resorts. The rooms are spacious and clean. (We had 183 and 184 beach villas) I think over time the rooms will be refreshed but I really think this should not put you off! What set apart the resort in our opinion is the approach of the staff. They really go out of their way to give a friendly home from home feel to the vacation. My daughters in particular are eager to visit again to see the wonderful people that they met on the island. We visited in August. The main reason to catch Manta Ray season at Hanifaru bay. How was the weather you ask? Week 1 was perfect, week 2 only a single day of persistent rain but higher winds all week. The only downside was more waves which limited snorkelling on the sunset side of the island. The diving (we all dive) and the trips were great. I can recommend Ocean Fanatics without any concerns at all. Yes, we did see Mantas multiple times at Hanifaru Bay and a Whale Shark too! So . All in all, I have no hesitation in recommending a break at this resort. We will return! ️

Lovely place with great food! We booked a half board and had amazing variety for the two meals. The hospitality is awesome. Every care is taken to make one feel comfortable. The country is beautiful, the dive centre in house arranges updated trips so that you don't miss out on spotting the special aquatic fauna! The staff is very friendly and helpful and kind! Would definitely recommend!
