The store has no one at the front desk. You can only open the door with the password to open the door of the room. Only young people, people who know German can live in it. Old people, people who don't understand German, can't get in, so they can only live on the street.

The location of the hotel is great, but the room is hot and stuffy in the summer. I wish I had a fan when the weather is hot.

Me and a friend are in the city for a concert. We live about 3 hours from Frankfurt so we had to spend the night and this hotel looked great especially for the price. However the price and there being two (pretty clean looking) beds is the only good thing about it. As a woman visiting with another woman this is absolutely terrible and I wouldn’t have picked this hotel if I knew about it -> There is no reception and the Hotel is open to pretty much anyone wanting to get it. So being in the middle of the city with lots of people and men walking past this open entrance saying “HOTEL” above it, it is very dangerous. We didn’t spend a lot of time in here but while being almost asleep we were awoken by a knock on the door and a male sounding voice. Immediately put a chair in front of the door but that doesn’t offer lots of safety either way. On top the room isn’t really that comfortable or clean and I personally don’t feel comfortable showering. The room next to it is very close and you can hear every word said. So no privacy as well. All in all I really wouldn’t recommend this unless you really can’t spend anything more. The price is good, but what is offered isn’t worth the danger. Stay safe.

The first thing to know is that there is no reception. Everything works with codes. First you have one for the entrance to the building, but it doesn't matter because when I was there the door was broken. That is, anyone on the streets could enter (at least the time I was there). Then, after checking in at a machine: you receive another code for the room. Many find it difficult to use it later. The elevator was not working, and since there is no reception, we had to go up the stairs. There is a phone number for a “support hotel”, but they don't answer. Regarding the room: it is small and dirty. Not because of the daily cleaning, but because of the accumulated years. The carpet is full of stains, bumps on the walls, damage... the truth is that it is quite disgusting. On the other hand, there is no breakfast and everything (including television) is in German and only German. Lastly, there is no air conditioning or heating, except in the bathroom. Well, there is a small heater and fan in the closet but they were covered in grime. The only good thing is the location: in the historic center and close to a metro. But it doesn't pay off.

This hotel has no human beings present to help you. The reception is " digital" meaning you have to login via a terminal in a small cramped corridor by the front door. God help you if you loose the WiFi connection or phone power - you have to get a digital code sent to you. No code, no room. You have to fill in endless details again, even though you have obviously pre- booked the room with the same details. If you are not quick enough ( 20 seconds) the terminal asks if you still exist. You must push another button. If you cannot get the code, don't worry there is a contact phone number - only nobody answers it. Ah,but you could always email them. Tried that. No answer for 36 hours and still waiting. These types of " hotels" are totally unforgivable and antisocial. Avoid them please - or take the risk. Also very badly maintained. But, there is no- one to complain to, of course!
