Hyatt Place Fredericksburg Mary Washington

We arrived with our kids around 11:40pm. Tired, the weather on the way was awful. Upon arrival, there was only one other person at the desk with the attendant. Unfortunately the checkin process took extremely too long given that there was only one other person checking in. My guess is there was an issue with the other guest checking in, but I’d expect for the attendant to show better judgment to the family with kids arriving late in the evening. With very little acknowledgment or communication, about 10 minutes went by. Finally the guest that was having issues checking in instructed the attendant to check us in. As we had reservations in place, our checkin took roughly a minute. It was an extremely frustrating experience.

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a nice vibe located in a retail center with a grocery store and restaurants.

Quiet enough for a good night’s sleep

Such a nice hotel! Clean, spacious and so close to Mary Washington University since it's right across the street. Love that it is pet friendly AND very clean!

The staff was very welcoming upon our arrival. They gave me a room at end of hall per my request. Our TV wasn't working at first and it was promptly dealt with after a call down to front desk. Restful night of sleep and full breakfast had lots of options. Will definitely stay again

Updated, friendly staff and comfy beds. Only negative was that the handle for the bathroom door was nasty dirty.

Stayed here because we attended a festival. There was a room available before 3pm ,however they would charge $40. We ended up just going to the festival and coming back. Other than that ridiculous fee, the room was ok. Also, the one lady at the front desk didnt even smile or greet me. Her coworker was helping someone else and that person was really helpful once she was free.
