This was our 17th visit to this peaceful and romantic place. The owners are fantastic hosts, and all personnel are helpful and friendly. The cabins of which we have visited 6 different are a piece of art in themselves. Rustic, cozy and well-functioning. We can highly recommend this place.

My husband and I were deciding between staying in town or further out in nature, and Barons CreekSide was the perfect mix of both! The setting along the stream, surrounded by trees and wildlife was so serene that it felt like miles away from anywhere, but it was just a short drive to town. We arrived at 8:30 our first night and weren’t really sure where to go for dinner, but that problem was solved having The Club on site. We enjoyed great food, wine and live music within our first hour at Barons CreekSide! It was so nice to come back to our cabin and put our feet up on our front porch after walking around downtown. Everything was so charming and relaxing! We truly enjoyed our stay!

The Victorian House was wonderful, very clean and beds very comfortable. love staying in the country but 5 minutes away from main street. The porch at night was especially enjoyable along with a bottle of wine and morning breakfast and coffee. The house easily accommodated 4 adults.

Absolutely heaven. Peaceful, relaxing and inspiring stay. The experience was truly European atmosphere. You could almost see the Swiss Alps with your eyes closed. Very friendly staff. Exceptionally easy check-in. Convenient to town but none of the noise or traffic. Highly recommended.

Nice, unique and very clean cabins. We stayed at the "Interlaken" cabin with a beautiful view of the trees, pond where all the ducks, birds, cats and so many different birds played. Cozy rocking chairs, all with the Swiss charm. Sitting outside at the porch in the morning or late evening was a blessing and so relaxing. "The club" offers a variety of food, beers and wine and live music while you dine.

My wife and I have been visiting Fredericksburg for a few years now - usually twice a year. We’ve stayed in numerous places and we keep coming back to Barons Creekside. In fact, I doubt we will try anywhere else moving forward. The term “cabin” is often used loosely and for me it means a real log cabin experience as opposed to a modified spec home or manufactured house. These cabins are the real deal! They are incredibly well stocked and decorated and you just feel like you’ve stepped back in time but still have the modern amenities. Even better is the fact the privacy is always top notch the way the cabins have been laid out on the property. And having a restaurant/bar on site with live entertainment is a great option (and isn’t too loud if you want quiet in your cabin). The location is super close to town but far enough out for peace and quiet. Daniel, Deborah and Simon are great (Swiss!) hosts too and make you feel very welcome. I highly recommend this place and will keep returning as often as we can!

We always stay at Baron's Creekside. Daniel and Deborah have thought of almost everything you would need in a great place to stay. We recommend the cabins for relaxation and quiet with the presence of a stream, ducks and sometimes deer. If you just enjoy relaxing, the front porch is great. You could fix your own meals, but the food in Fredericksburg is outstanding. The location is close to downtown and convenient to many of the wineries.

Second trip to Barons Creekside, again a restful and quiet experience. Minutes from downtown Fredericksburg, but seems like miles away from everything. Cabin was clean and comfortable, everything needed was in place. Views of the creek from the porch were relaxing in the evening. We'll be back!

OMG!! What an AMAZING & FREEING experience we had this past week! We stayed in the Wagon & it was so beautiful & spacious! Although I was a bit hesitant at first, it was safe and I can’t wait to go back!! Thank you again Daniel & Deborah for making my birthday celebration memorable!!
