It is renovated but the infrastructure is old. The entrance looks grand but the rooms are dirty. We had room 343. There were webs and dirt all along the room trim. I killed a 2inch spider by the tv and not a house spider but one of those mamas that belongs outside. I then inspected the room and saw the same type of spider hanging on the curtains!! That’s it I packed up and demanded another room. I’ve been in a lot of hotel rooms and this has never happened to me to see outside spiders in rooms. We then got a room on the sixth floor premium. It definately was cleaner. After inspection I could sleep lol. But when I woke up to take a shower, a thick daddy long legs was in the shower. Wth!! At least it wasn’t a spider like last night. Positives are that it’s in great location and near water. Great for bike rides

This is a very dated hotel the carpets in the hallways are stained it’s very damp smelling We booked online and found that they put you on the second floor which isn’t good if you have a disability. I’d give it more stars because the staff were great the breakfast was the best that we’ve had on our trip. I wish that we had known that we had such a small bed because it was difficult for both of us. The fan in the bathroom is very loud and so is the air conditioner. Stains on office chair 😳

I needed a family suite with a separate bedroom for a several-night stay with my 19 year old. This hotel had the best option for a good price. The furniture and decor could use an update, but the hotel and rooms were clean and the bed and pull-out couch were comfortable. A hot breakfast was included in the price. There was a pool and fitness room which I did not use, and guest laundry which I did. Would stay again

Had a 1 night stay while passing through on a road trip. The location is convenient and only a couple minutes from the highway. The hotel itself seems to be nicely updated. The room was clean and in generally good condition. Bed was comfortable and the only problem was that the bathroom sink was draining very slowly. It wasn’t bad enough for me to need service and I just mentioned it on check out. Breakfast was included with the rate (standard for Holiday Inn Express) and was delicious. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and home fries, and omelettes were all there as well as a hot pancake maker and warm cinnamon rolls. They had Greek yogurt which was nice. Usually included hotel breakfasts are an afterthought but at this place the food was as good or better than what actual restaurants serve. The eating area was also huge with ample seating and no crowding.

This property is well located with a golf course. Pet friendly. Rooms are fairly well appointed and no carpet. The devil is in the details though! 1. We checked in, unpacked, got the pyjamas on - only to find out that the TV would not work. The front desk could not do anything about it and offered to change the room. It was late, we were already unpacked and didn’t want to repack all of our stuff and move. Needless to say, our stay was not very pleasant with no TV. 2. They charge a $100 additional deposit at check in which is refunded at checkout - you hope! How will we know if they decide to keep the deposit because they determine that we caused some sort of damage to the room? They are not verifying the rooms before checkout to ensure no damage. This is nonsense and will ensure that we don’t stay here again. 3. The towels are threadbare. See photos. I am amazed they would even use these towels. 4. The mattress had a huge stain on it which you observe every time you sit on the sofa. Kind of unpleasant. 5. The coffee maker is one of those silly little efforts that require special “pods” to be used. We asked for extra coffee at check in and none was available. They had two pods delivered to the room. Two? The coffee in the lobby is watery. Just get a decent coffeemaker and provide some coffee. 5. No breakfast. Although they do offer watery coffee in the lobby. Breakfast available for an additional charge. Really? In general, the hotel is bright and the grounds are very nice. Attention to detail and this $100 deposit silliness are issues though. Actually insurmountable in our view. The deposit policy needs to change.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and once again, I was thoroughly impressed! Interestingly, I flew in from the Netherlands, where I currently live, and found myself at Amsterdam Inn & Suites—a touch of Dutch charm right here. The hotel exudes cleanliness and attention to detail: the bathroom has gleaming white tiles without a single stain or speck of mold, and the toilet was spotless. The room itself is spacious, tidy, and has a fresh, clean scent. I have a very sensitive nose when it comes to dust, but I didn’t detect any—just pure cleanliness. The atmosphere is wonderfully quiet, making it perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The facilities are well-maintained and immaculate, and the staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful—exactly the kind of service guests appreciate. The breakfast is varied, offering plenty of delicious options, and the hotel is conveniently located near shopping areas and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel, as evidenced by my return last month, in September 2024. I look forward to visiting again in the future. More power to Amsterdam Inn & Suites—the Dutch way! Bedankt en groetjes! LFD Kleijn-Sanchez & AM van Dijk Netherlands

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is clean and tidy, the room layout is perfect, elegant without losing sentiment, and the service is thoughtful, making people extremely comfortable. It creates a sense of home for me. No matter how big or small it is, it is impeccable and the price is reasonable.

Superior location. The hotel has good facilities. In front of the gate is the river. It's safe, too. I do a lot of running in the morning. Next to it is a new shopping mall. Later, I found that there are many noodles to eat. You can also see the scenery outside. Very good.
GGuest UserWe booked this place for 2 nights before flying back to Mexico. It is not close to the airport and is not in the downtown core but, it is close to shopping and a ton of restaurants. First the good: 1 - easy to find 2 - friendly staff 3 - clean well appointed room 4 - firm comfortable bed 5 - great included breakfast 6 - walking distance to many places for dining, shopping etc. 7 - great deal for the price 8 - Lots of hot water for long showers 9 - mask rules enforced 10 - really good in room internet The not so good: 1 - Not convenient for getting to downtown if you do not have a car 2 - If you want to watch some TV - forget about the listing channel - has no relationship to the actual channels 3 - something in the room (or around the room made a strange vibrating/gurgling noise (only noticeable as I sat at the desk writing this). 4 - the A/C was very noisy. The bad: No airport shuttle We enjoyed the first morning breakfast, having provided our proof of vaccination the day before, when we checked in. As well, since we had an early morning flight the next day, we were provided with breakfast to go. A welcome treat that saved us both time and money the day of our flight. We will definitely book here again.

GGuest UserThe property appears to be clean, but is not robustly boasted of its sanitization efforts. Expect some oddities in the room decor and furniture, but all is functional albeit not at a higher level of expectation. i.e. air movement was outdated, USB ports non existant. The staff were pleasant, efficient, and friendly. The property felt secure enough for a one-night business stay but very much felt like a value-focused property. Very disappointed that the restaurant did not open until 7:30 am, which is too late for someone with business to conduct.
