I can not explain how grossed out I am, and how ridiculous Baymont Inn & Suites are in Freeport! I had found bed bugs in my bed, and instead of refunding my money they said they would be able to move me 4 doors down. I would need to wait for the morning to get a refund. I didn’t even want to stay there at this point! I had no other options but to sleep it off with all the lights on, and miserable night of sleep! I wake up to find out since I stayed the night and didn’t leave the hotel refused to refund me for my stay because I ended up staying the night. See the pic for reference of the nasty bed bugs there!!

I liked how helpful and caring LaMay was. I have a hard time walking and use a motorized wheelchair and I went outside to smoke a cigarette and I was coming in and she came out and helped by holding the doors open so I could get in easy.

Check in was quick and easy. Lamar, the hostess was friendly and very congenial. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and firm. The bathroom was clean and a tiny bit small but functional and good water pressure. I gave a 4 star rating only because the carpets are showing some wear but they were clean. The breakfast was very good with the usual standard fare plus, waffles, gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs and sausages. I would recommend this location to friends.

The bathroom clearly hadn't been cleaned. The sheets had been changed and the trash emptied. There was still dried toothpaste in the sink. Dried doody in the toilet, something else brown on the floor around it....ick!! But we called the front desk & they promptly came and cleaned the toilet. The next morning, when we came back from breakfast the room had been finally ALL cleaned.
