The property is located in northwest Illinois a very scenic area to the west towards the Mississippi River. The property is an older but well maintained property. The room is nice and comfortable.

This is, by far, the best hotel in the Freeport area. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is one of the best I have ever stayed in. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and were there for two days. I talked to a variety of staff members....custodial, breakfast and front desk....all were friendly and helpful. The rooms and general facility were very clean and beds were very comfortable! Absolutely loved the free cookies at the front desk. Breakfast can be hit or miss with hotels, but this hotel and a variety of hot and cold options.....very tasty all around. It is evident that this staff works hard and they are managed/led very well.

We always stay here when coming for the Pec flea market. Great place to stay but the price the last few years has made this very expensive compared to other hotels in the area.

It was nice, the staff was excellent. Only two things the room had a very foul odor (Musty smell) so I asked the cleaning lady about having some spray to spray and she gave me the spray to do the room but it only lasted for a few minutes and the foul odor remained. The tub was stopped up in so much I didn't use it I had to take a wash up.

Just went to check some things out and we always stay at Country Inn &Suites in Freeport Illinois Management and all the Staff are nice friendly and very helpful
