Excellent service from the staff. Very calm. Good quality of the bed. However, it smelled like sewage in my room; I was given an adjacent room which smelled less but still smelled. I won't return for another reason: there was no coffee maker or kettle in the room (and no body cream too).

Reception asked if we wanted advice on where to eat, we declined but we only found one restaurant open as most places are closed on Mondays.
Mercure has a bar but was closed.

The next morning we were asked if we enjoyed are stay and said yes but room was very hot. We were then told air-con will not be installed until end of 2023. Not impressed.

Hotel was going under renovation when visited and it was a bit messy. Rooms were just OK but didn't feel comfortable. Breakfast was basic. But for this price you expect far far far more. Wouldn't stay again. Not the quality you pay for.
