This is an inn in Isawa Onsen, located just across Fuefuki Bridge. The rooms are spacious, about 12 tatami mats, and there is a comfortable sofa chair on the veranda. The hot springs are alternated between men and women, but they only do so at night, so I have only used one of the baths so far. The open-air bath is large enough for a few people. We ate at the restaurant. The rice was cooked in a kettle, and all the dishes were set out except for the soup and dessert. The flame underneath the bowl was kept lit so that the tempura wouldn't get cold. There was a wide selection of dishes, and I couldn't finish all of the cooked rice. Breakfast was also served at the same restaurant. We stayed on a Saturday, but the price wasn't expensive, so it was nice to be able to relax and enjoy the hot springs and the food.

This is an inn that I use about once a year. It is located right next to Fuefuki Bridge. The room is a beautiful Japanese-style room with a reception set, and the Fuefuki River is right in front of me (Fuefuki Bridge is on the left). Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby. The bath is a large public bath, and the indoor bath was well ventilated and the indoor bath was warm, which was nice. The open-air bath can accommodate several people. There is a lotion and milk in the wash area. The men's and women's baths are only switched at night. I don't take baths at night because I drink alcohol, so I haven't used the other bath yet. I always think it would be better if they switched the baths or in the morning. Both baths already have the amenities for men and women, so I don't think it would be difficult, but I hope that someday it will be like that. There is a rest area and a water cooler after the bath. It is soothing to drink water in the rest area overlooking the pond in the garden and watch the carp. There are many long carp. There are also small carp, and they sometimes jump. There is a net over the pond so that birds will come and attack the carp. As for dinner, we were very satisfied with the beautiful and delicious kaiseki cuisine. Almost all the dishes are set at the table, and each dish was delicious. The staff at the dining area (who also served our rooms) were very attentive, cheerful, and kind, and we were very happy with their consideration. The wine we ordered (a 1.8L bottle) (corkage fee required - Isawa Onsen Yamanashi Wine BYO System) was large, so it didn't cool easily, but they put ice and water in a large wine cooler to keep it cold. My wife told the waitress, "Thanks to you, we can drink cheap wine deliciously." We also enjoyed our conversation with the veteran waitress, who is friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was a Japanese set meal. *The grilled food was homemade, and (the day after drinking alcohol) we were served clam soup, which was a well-balanced Japanese meal. When we checked out, the landlady also greeted us, and it was an inn where we felt good hospitality until the end. In addition, the waitresses at this inn are always very friendly, making for a fun and enjoyable stay. My wife said, "Let's come back in the fall!"
