Fuji Park Hotel

Not bad, warm service

I always stay at Gotemba, but there were no vacancies, so I booked this hotel. I arrived before dark in the evening. It was conveniently located near the new Tomei Expressway. There was about 10 parking spaces at the hotel entrance, and a large open-air parking lot a little further away, so I felt that it would be fine even if the hotel was full. The hotel itself is an old-looking Showa-era business hotel. I received my key at the front desk, chose my amenities, and headed to my room on the 4th floor. There were two elevators (Toshiba). There was an outlet and USB jack at the bedside, a desk lamp, and space to put small items, which was convenient. Wi-Fi was also comfortable to use. There was no individual air conditioning. The toilet was a washlet. The unit bath was extremely small. Body soap and rinse-in shampoo were provided. It was a terrible typhoon that day, and I was woken up by the thunder at 2am. The sound of the rain hitting the window was also terrible. I didn't mind it much when I was sleeping, but I think the walls are thin. It wasn't normal weather, so I don't know how soundproof it is normally. The location is convenient and there is no need to worry about parking, so I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.
