Great stay at Lakeland Hotel Mizunosato, and it ended up being one of the most memorable parts of my trip. The setting alone is incredible—right by the lake, with beautiful views that make it easy to slow down and really enjoy the surroundings. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, The highlight was definitely the private onsen, which I obviously paid for. It was a relaxing way to unwind after a day of doing nothing. Food at the restaurant is good—the meals were thoughtfully prepared and gave a great taste of local flavors. Overall, Lakeland Hotel Mizunosato offers a beautiful blend of comfort, scenery, and traditional hospitality, and is ideal to relax and take in the natural beauty around Lake Kawaguchi. Great find on Trip.com.

Facilities: A bit old but perfectly functional.
Environment: Very typical Japanese decor, giving you that authentic feel from Japanese dramas and anime.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
The view opposite the hotel is unbeatable; you can see Mount Fuji from your room and even while relaxing in the bath.

The hotel is right beside the lake. You can see Mt Fuji outside the hotel. The room looks abit dated but it’s clean and spacious. The meals are yummy for both breakfast and dinner. The onsen is nice, there are an indoor and an outdoor onsen. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Just a note that they only accept cash so do prepare some cash. Convenient stores are not very near so it’s good to buy snacks and drinks on your way to the hotel.

The rooms are beautiful, and the front desk staff are really helpful and provide great service. The hotel's mini-mart has a lot of local specialties that are both cheap and tasty. I found the hotel's own food to be just average, but many of the hotel services are time-limited, so definitely pay attention to the emails the hotel sends out! The scenery is stunning, and I'd definitely stay here again next time!
