Amazing ryokan. Friendly staffs & they spoke good English. Located right by the lake and you get amazing view from one of the onsen(there are two, one for men & women). A little bit old but the rooms, lobby, hallways & elevator are clean & well maintained. Highly recommended!

I have a good time during my stay in Yamagishi Ryokan. Everything is in top notch including the food and services will definitely revisit again in future.

From the station to the hotel by walking takes about 10 mins; or, taking Red-Line Bus and getting off at the Stop 8th are where the hotel is.

The location is excellent. Will need to show the japanese characters and front door view in the pictures though in order to locate it along Lake Kawaguchiko. Family Mart, F&B and Mt Fuji Ropeway within walking distance. The only disappointing part was the rainy weather that hid Mt Fuji.

Very nice lake view room. All staff are super polite. Dinner food is good and presents very nicely. With van transportation provide between train station and hotel is really thoughtful.

Was a cozy ryokan with public bath available (male and female separated). Rmb to bring own towel from room as not provided at the bath. Room size was relatively ok. Shower and toilet room Is separate.

We booked our stay in less than week time that the hotel turned out to be better than exepected, in particulary the dinner and breakfast.

Very nice location; Friendly front desk receptionists; Efficient check in and out procedures; Can further improve cleaning service and the old furniture or facility; The late check in time(15:00) and early check out time (10:00) are both not very convenient to room guest; The traditional Japanese room and bed setting may not be very suitable for foreign travellers.

The hotel is musty and has an oder in additional to the damp musty order…then the room is warn and the features are in fair condition at best. This is definitely not worth the cost!!

Good location. Room size is good for family

A traditional onset hotel with decades accommodations. Don't have much expectation on meals provided. Not bad but won't say good. Also, the sight of hot spring claimed in official website was disappeared as privacy. But still have not protected well when enjoying outside hot spring. All in all, it is only the best choice when you book a hotel on rush.
