Shonan Almont Inn — Overall Review 🌊🇯🇵 Really enjoyed our stay at Shonan Almont Inn! 🏨 The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very convenient. There are plenty of food options and convenience stores nearby, so it was easy to grab meals or anything we needed. The location is also a big plus. It’s very easy to get to Enoshima, which made it perfect for our little Shonan trip, especially for enjoying the beach, sunset, and seafood. 🌅🍣 Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, especially if you’re planning to explore Shonan, Enoshima, and the surrounding areas. Would definitely consider staying here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good, clean, and very close to Fujisawa Station

Very nice hotel. Good service, very tasty traditional Japanese breakfast. Location is also perfect. Just in 15 minutes you could get Enoshima. I would stay here again.

This gem of a hotel is located right at the right turn after you come down the escalator at Big Camera store’s side. Breakfast buffet spread is satisfactory with good variety. Room is the usual small size of Japanese hotels but comfortable and well maintained. Bed and pillows are comfortable too, not too hard nor soft. I have really enjoyed my stay here and it’s indeed a good move to base myself at Fujisawa for good value for money, while having the convenience to take the Enoden train to explore all the must-go places in Kamakura daily. As Fujisawa station is the terminal station where the train starts here it’s possible to get a vacant and nice seat compared to other stations in-between where you’ll be standing and squeezed like sardines when more and more passengers get up especially when the day trippers from Tokyo start to flock in after 10am during weekends or peak periods.

The hotel locates very close to Fujisawa station (2 minutes on foot; with escalator so no worry if you are carrying heavy bags), next to a Bic Camera (a big Bic Camera), 7-11, Lawson. It also means that you will have easy access to those department stores and shopping mall next to the station. Single room is super small, but for me it is big enough since I spent most of my time outside. It is kinda cosy actually. Breakfast was not bad. The restsurant only serves breakfast but they allow guests to use the dining area and the beverage machine outside breakfast time. I gave a 3 our of 5 for facility because it is a small hotel so there isn't many facilities plus small room. But hear me out it is good enough for the price you pay. Staffs were very nice and kind. I will stay in this hotel again if I am going to visit Fujisawa again.
