The hotel is located in the Tenjin business district. There are 3 drugstores within 3 minutes' walk. The room prices during the New Year period are moderately high. Most of them are Koreans/Hong Kong/local Japanese. The open-air spa on the 10th floor is highly recommended. Breakfast is required. Come early or you'll have to wait in line...

I went on a family trip in March. The location (5 minutes from Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall) and room condition were excellent, and there was a hot spring, so it was perfect for relieving fatigue in the evening. Although there weren't many side dishes, the breakfast was clean and great, like eating a clean home-cooked meal. This is a great hotel for travelers with children. When I visit Fukuoka again, I will definitely choose Candeo Hotel.

It's good that it's close to Tenjin Station and that there's Komeda Coffee on the first floor, but the accommodation feels old. The staff (especially the Korean staff) are very friendly. The breakfast was also of a decent standard, enough to eat for a day or two. The room wasn't soundproofed well (the sound of running water), the main bath wasn't that clean, and there were a lot of people using it, so I was reluctant to use it. A hotel that left a lot to be desired compared to the price. It's an average hotel with clear pros and cons, so I don't think I'll stay there again on my next trip.
