The exterior and lobby were clean, and I knew that Japanese rooms are small, so it was okay, but the bed seemed old and the mattress sank a lot when I sat on it, and the cleaning condition was not good. There was hair on the bathroom ceiling, and where I had wiped it with a mop, there was still dust. Since I spend a lot of time outside rather than in a hotel when traveling, I think many people make reservations thinking that they want to stay somewhere cost-effective for their sleep. I made a reservation with that in mind as well. I felt a bit uneasy while I was there. The location was good for getting around.

Fukuoka and Shimonoseki are my favorite cities in Japan. This is my third time in Fukuoka. I went to Kushida Shrine and Shiga Island early in the morning, fulfilling my wish of not going to Shiga Island the first two times. I rode a bicycle around the island, which was very comfortable and the scenery was so beautiful. I stayed at the Washington Hotel this time. The hygiene was good. The room was small but clean. It was very close to Tenjin and Canal City. The location was very good. I look forward to my next visit to Fukuoka~
