Nipponia is a wonderful small hotel and restaurant located in Fukusaki about one km from the train station. We stayed in a large suite with multiple rooms, and views to the garden on all sides. The food is fantastic and is prepared with care and creativity. Even more important is the friendliness of the helpful staff who go far beyond what’s necessary to ensure that one’s needs are taken care of. We had a mishap while in Fukusaki which the staff helped us with to the nth degree and with care and warmth. Taken together - the setting, the beauty of the rooms, the delicious food, and the caring staff - made this stay an unforgettable one. Thank you Nipponia.
