Our first visit to Madeira and stayed in this lovely hotel in the old town district of Funchal. Overall we both had a great stay. Location is great, hotel is extremely clean, rooms are small but adequate with a super comfortable bed and a fabulous shower. Breakfast is top notch with everything you need. Hotel staff are courteous and helpful. Minor downsides: roof bar/pool - small area and pool is tiny, not suitable for kids, also there are a couple of noisy bars outside which don’t close until 4am. We didn’t find these too disturbing. Finally, the gym is located on floor 4 and surround by rooms, we did experience some gym equipment noise early in the morning which was a little annoying.

Très bien Situé dans la vieille ville. Petit déjeuner très copieux et délicieux. Très Bon accueil à la réception et au bar. Un petit bémol, la bouteille d’eau n’est pas disponible dans la chambre chaque jour, c’est mesquin pour ce standing de 5 étoiles. Vous pourrez faire tout à pieds.

Ho soggiornato 3 notti con mia figlia di 17 anni, lei si è innamorata del profumo diffuso nell'hotel e piscina Rooftop. Il personale è gentile, non invadente e disponibile nel cercare di soddisfare ogni tua esigenza compreso lunch box a qualsiasi ora in caso di trekking all'alba. La Camera Delux con vista sul corso principale e mare si è rivelata all'altezza delle aspettative con prezzo adeguato, silenziosa letti separati ampie e comodi, ottima scelta cuscini. Peccato per il servizio di pulizia: decisamente migliorabile soprattutto nei bagni.

Property had a good location right in the centre of the old town surrounded by bars and restaurants. This however means some noise on an evening especially from an adjacent club which was annoying.
The hotel is new and well maintained but lacking luxury that you would expect at a five star, for example minimum toiletries (you have to ask via app) and average bed. Breakfast was good and included egg station, hot and cold dishes however was busy and due to being serve yourself coffee sometimes you queued a long time for the coffee machine
Comfortable stay for a few nights but for me a good 4 star quality not true 5*. Location excellent and staff were very helpful when I contacted them in advance when I asked for help
