Stayed 2 nights. Corner room has a weird configurations. Room door opens into a long hallway facing the bathroom with a sink in the hallway and the bedroom off to the side via a door. The hotel is showing age but decently maintained as much as possible. The hardware seemed typical old style Japanese hotel. We had two rooms and somehow one room gets toiletry packs with coffee and another didn’t consistently. Breakfast and dinner buffet had decent spreads but nothing impressionable. No porter service was provided.

We stayed at North Country Inn for two weeks as part of a Whiteroom tour. The rooms were huge by Japanese standard and the futon beds were just as big (super king?). The beds are a little hard by western standards but after a day of skiing I still managed to get good night sleeps. Rooms only have green tea so if you want anything else you’ll have to purchase in Japan or bring your own. There is a tv but it only has Japanese channels. The restaurant serves a fantastic buffet breakfast with muesli, toast, yogurt options as well as salads, curries, bacon, eggs, spaghetti bol, soups, potato wedges and breads etc. The staff that run this place are what make it. Their English is pretty limited but with google translate and hand gestures you can get by. Everyone is so helpful and always has a smile and willing to help where they can. There is a small lounge where you can sit with others but the bar doesn’t open until 6pm when the restaurant opens. There is a vending machine that sells beer and strong zero (alcoholic lemonade?) which you can drink in your room. There is a good drying room too. The location is about a 20minute walk to Furano ski field and there is a snow shuttle. There is a hotel restaurant that serves basic Japanese cuisine and if you want to venture further afield there are more restaurants about 30min walk away. Bear in mind you will be walking in the dark, in snowy conditions along a main road so you might just want to go by taxi. In summary we had a fantastic stay and thoroughly recommend staying with them.

Fairly new hotel in Furano. It has good sized rooms, pretty quiet and good beds. Good shower, coffee all day, very clean . Breakfast was satisfactory but there is NO bread, you can bake a bun, but with one small toaster you can wait awhile. The food is not hot. Good COVID safety measures are in place. There is no hanging hooks anywhere in room you can’t hang up a coat ( such a simple thing to fix. ) Bedside table is very tiny. English is not well spoken and staff mainly use a translation app. For a couple of days we had a competent English speaker. English is not necessary but was advertised as English speaking staff. Restaurant, well it doesn’t really exist, open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You have to book in the day before, we tried to book in 8.00 AM FOR THAT EVENING, they had to ring chef and ask if that was ok? So if you arrive on a Friday you can’t get a meal till Saturday night. No wonder there was only 4 people in restaurant, however the meal was very good. We arrived at restaurant early intending to have a drink before the meal, but were advised to come back at correct time. There is only one vending machine which only sells drinks. There is no where to order a snack, soup etc. Laundry was good. The bus from the airport does not stop at the hotel. The footpaths had not been cleared and it was very slippery, icy and dangerous, on top of that the entrance to hotel had not been cleared.- they have some very fancy clearing equipment in the lobby. The staff were polite but not helpful couldn’t offer any suggestion for a meal that was close by, I think that overall you could find a better place to stay, with a shuttle service, bus drop off and cafe restaurant that is open 7 days

Furano, who is supposed to be returning to Japan in winter, is also quiet this year. With subsidies from Furano City, the Hokkaido people limited ”Furano” was started, and 5000 yen discount was received per adult, so I tried to use it immediately. Family 4 people 4 bedroom use. The room is almost simple with only bed and unit bus, but it is kept clean and there was nothing wrong with staying overnight. 2 with a meal plan, dinner was a full course dinner. The fish dish was on the brass powre and menu, but I was worried that it was not sure (perhaps boiled or low temperature cooking). It's not bad. Breakfast was a buffet, but masks and gloves are essential and infection measures are strict. I thought the number of items and the taste were more than the first point as a hotel breakfast buffet. The child was happy to eat a lot. The bath seems to be not a hot spring, but the size is just right in a clean public bath, not so crowded and I was able to take a comfortable bath. The staff was also kind, and the questionnaire answer was a very good impression, including wine 1 this service, free coffee and sweets service at the related facilities, etc. This time it was mainly for ski purposes, but I would like to stay if there is a good plan again.

Pros - 1) Convenient location close to many good eateries (Kumagera, Masaya, Sennari etc), a drugmart and a supermarket. 2) Free parking (30 lots). 3) Our room (777 - where they previously filmed a Korean drama) was spacious, clean and had a great view of the surrounding mountains. 4) Service was great even though English is a tad limited. Cons - 1) TV channels are predominantly in Japanese save for BBC and 1 Chinese channel.

We booked this futurwald furano ski hotel for its location. Also as it had hot spring baths for relaxing after skiing. The staff are all very nice, friendly and helpful! The nice lady behind the check in counter even booked my ski pass with discount. The only thing I could say they can improve on is better coffee, and organizing dinner and breakfast better . Maybe don't take as many bookings ? Other than that it's a perfect place to stay as they have warm drying room /ski lockers right out the front of the hotel ( across the road from the ”kitanomine ” F chair lift ) excellent 👌 if you want to access the whole furano ski resort.... Makes it easier to have a break back at hotel and not as busy as main ” shin furano prince hotel side ”. Yes overall good location, good for family or adults. The level 2 of hotel has areas to read or sip on a suntory whiskey after a good day in Furanos powder snow ❄️. I did note that the lifts in hotel get crowded but stairs are a great option if needed in a hurry. Thanks again konnichi wa OHIYO I will stay here again. . Thanks again.

Excellent stay, the room was smaller than I expected but there were so many things to do outside the room it didn't bother us. 3 different private onsen and free popsicles. Dinner was Italian pasta at first but when I told the front desk that we don't fancy pasta and can't take it for the 3 dinners included in the stay, one staff kindly agreed to speak to the kitchen and offered us pizza instead. Thank you for her kindness. An earlier staff told us no change was possible and we were quite upset as we didn't expect to be eating Italian when visiting Japan. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the onsen and scenery. The staffs were really kind to consider our feedback.

GGuest UserGabriel and Neil made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Nothing! We had a sick baby upon arrival, and Neil drove us to the hospital which gave us one less thing to worry about during a stressful time. Both managers assisted us with bookings and groceries. The accommodation itself is perfect - enough space, laundry, well appointed kitchen (with dishwasher), and location is top notch. The only thing that could be improved is a self latching hinge on the drying room door, as we came back one day to an open door which puts the gear at risk. That said, the location is incredibly safe and so the risk would be extremely low. Apart from that, every aspect of this accommodation is perfect and sooooo easy for a family with children. The bedding is incredibly comfortable as well. My mother, who is in her 70s, commented also on the bedding. We will definitely be back. Thanks again, Gabriel and Neil :-D
Mmikecat1985This time I came to Furano and found that the accommodation was mostly expensive and the CP value was low. Finally, I looked at the youth hotel. This youth hotel that has not been opened for a long time has become my choice. It is self-driving. The parking lot has to be reserved in advance. When you arrive, there are still many seats, and you have to charge 500 yen parking fee. The following are evaluated from all aspects: Location: Because it is self-driving, not affected by the station, but close to JR station, located in the center of Furano, but it is quite cold near the evening, after all, this is not a metropolis, the parking lot is not next to the youth hostel is also a weakness, It's a short walk, and it's hard if it's snowing. Service: Youth travel does not need too much service, but the service attitude of the counter staff is very good, after the shift will see people will say hello, this is very good, the introduction is also very serious, will not be perfunctory because it is a foreigner, the service is good overall. Facilities: This time I stayed in a family triple room, there was their own space, the room was unexpectedly large, and there was room to spread out two suitcases (but I don't think it's possible to live for four people), the socket lights, etc. were all adequate, the bathroom had its own exclusive area available, using the room key, No need to rob the tenants in the Datong room, this is superb, the kitchen is on different floors, the kitchen is quite complete, you can make a big meal, the facilities are perfect. Meals: This youth hotel has no meals, so no comments. Overall evaluation: The parking lot is far away, and there are three-person rooms more expensive. In addition, there is no disadvantage. It is a very good youth travel. If you want to save money for travel, I think this youth hotel is definitely the first choice.
CC Lam LWe had a very pleasant stay in Felix West.
I had to specially give compliment to the hotel staff and service team. They are very helpful, friendly, patient and professional. Their service and attitude impressed us a lot and that would be the reason for staying at this hotel upon our next visit to Furano.
We were a group of 6 and staying at 3-bedroom suite was incredibly nice and comfortable. We had certain privacy by having 3 rooms in the suite and we could also gather in the dining area. Kitchen is fully equipped. Rooms are tidy and neat with amenities. Beds are very comfy and the whole environment was very quiet, so we slept very well. There is also a cafe downstairs.
We travelled by car, so quite easy to get to the hotel and there is hotel carpark. If no car, reaching the hotel would be a bit challenging.
Overall, we loved and enjoyed a lot our stay in the hotel.
Ttacky_kingIt was a stay at a time when there were no skiers due to the corona emergency declaration. Even though it was the ski season, there were several days when we were the only guests. I was very sorry for this even though it was just renovated. The location is right next to Mine ski resort in north Furano. The bus stop from the airport is near. Furano station is a short distance away. We think that cost performance is high. It's been a while since the renovation, so everywhere is beautiful. You can also relax in the bathtub at Toron Onsen and warm your body. The customer service was also polite to pick up and drop off at the ski resort and to eat out for dinner. ”All the staff spoke in a polite manner and greeted me, which left a very good impression.” The rooms have also been remodeled and were beautiful. I chose the ”Japanese-Style Quadruple Room”, which is a Japanese-style room, because it has a large budget and can be used barefoot. There are parts that are unreasonable. Washrooms and showers are in good order. The windows have a double-glazed structure with double glazing and shoji screens, and a roll screen is also attached. There is a ski resort inn. Even in a luxury hotel, the outside glass will not freeze and ruin the view. I was able to enjoy the scenery because I could see the scenery well. The bath is beautiful and relaxing. The Tron hot spring also promotes blood circulation and warms you up. Speaking of greed, I like hot water with a little more heat. It would be nice to have one or two degrees warmer to recover from the muscle pain from skiing. Breakfast was delivered to our room. I wonder if I can choose between Japanese and Western, but only for the last two days. It's a pity that there was a part that was dry and hard, probably because the rice was served first when serving the meal. It's a shame that there aren't many guests at this hotel with such good facilities and very kind staff. I am grateful that the staff actively asked me about the pick-up and drop-off at the ski resort. In addition, I was worried about dinner, and I was kind enough to pick up and drop off as well. I enjoyed skiing and sightseeing, and the stress of the corona disaster was healed both physically and mentally. Please come again when you come to Furano. Thank you very much
GGuest UserInside, it feels like a forest cabin
The boss is very enthusiastic. Although he can't speak Chinese, there are staff who can speak English to introduce the facilities. The boss lives in the next room. After checking out, he just packs up his luggage and knocks on his door to see if anything is missing.
fully equipped
JR took the bus and got off the bus and walked a few hundred meters.
Bathroom is a bit small
When you live in the upper bunk, you should pay attention to the head when you get confused.
Overall, I feel that the various decoration details are very delicate
Very happy and enjoy the stay
PPannyZaThis house is great ! If anyone looks for the house to stay with family or friends, I recommend this house. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, washing machine and kitchen area. You can park your car. But I recommend who deciding to stay here, this house is located on county road. The road is very dark.
Stayed 4N at Kaku Place over he ***** New Year. We booked two 1BR apartments on different floors as they had sold out of the 2BR units. The cosy apartment had a view of the mountain and came fully equipped with kitchen, washing machine, dryer and heated towel racks. The furnishings and fittings were well maintained but the wooden floor boards showed signs of wear and stains. The bed was on the softer side. The heating worked fine but hot water took a while to heat up. Apartment came with fast WiFi and Smart TV (great for watching Netflix). The apartment had a very small closet to hang clothes. Without cupboards to store clothes we were forced to live out of our suitcases. The apartment is located in Kitanomine town and was a 15 min walk *uphill* to the lift station. The best restaurants are all located in Furano town across the river (one way >JPY1000 taxi ride). Upon arrival at Kitanomine town, H2 Life provided free pickup from the bus stop. On the last day, they dropped us off at the Furano Train Station. H2 also provides us with free shuttle to the lifts each morning which worked well except for 1 day when they did not turn up. Each apartment comes with its own ski locker for us to store boots, skis, bards. One evening, my daughter could not unscramble the PIN on the locker and it took us the whole night of calling H2 HQ who would then relay the message to H2 Furano. Unfortunately nobody from H2 Furano returned our calls and the locker issue was only resolved the next day.
My family stayed this hotel for 2 nights. This was our 1st time visiting Furano. This hotel is beautifully located on the top of hill with a nice view of the area’s hills from our room. There is Lawson in walking distance if you need to grab a quick foods or drinks. Our 2bd room was spacious with full kitchen and living room. For American tourists, there is very helpful English speaking hotel staff including the general manager. All staff were very friendly and thoughtful. My family really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would like to return when we have a chance.
EEric Shiu soThe lady owner is very nice and she can speak good English.
Though no full breakfast set provides, however, the owner will provide morning drinks and daily fresh harvests (eg: eggs, corn, tomatoes) as your simple breakfast. Warm-hearted and sweet to have it with good farming views.
If you are cat lovers, there are over 10 cats there and they are lovely.
We also enjoy JPY700 for 1/4 orange fresh and sweet honeydew which is big enough for 4.
As the location is in the midst of farm, guests should tolerate certain buds in the open area.
DDestination810945I chose this inn because there is a barrier free room. There is also a reclining bed. There is a shower carry instead of a shower chair, so you can take a shower even if you are tough to get into the bathtub. There is a large lavender field and you can see it from the open-air bath. It is very beautiful when it is full. The meal was influenced by the corona and it was a meal. The buffet continued at the stay, but the meal was good. It was a meal of the orthodox inn, but it was full of Furano pork and seasonal Furano melon. The breakfast was orthodox but it was delicious
