A few unknown insects were spotted in the washroom. The air conditioning didn’t work properly and never reached the temperature I had set. The room was extremely hot at times, while at other times, it became very cold for no apparent reason.
The morning buffet was below average. Some of the food appeared to be leftovers, and some items were served cold, even though they were supposed to be hot.
Overall, the staff were nice.

The bed in the room was very comfortable, which gave me and my friend a place to rest after a day of fatigue. Meiyuan is a hotel with a design and service that I would not hesitate to recommend to any tourist visiting this city. I was attracted by its decoration as soon as I came in. The dark brown Chinese style impressed me deeply, and the surrounding business districts were also complete. The lady Ye Xinlan at the front desk who checked me in was very considerate and gave me a free upgrade. It was really good.
